A Federal road that lead to FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC NEKEDE, (FEDEPONEK) and FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OWERRI, (FUTO) IMO STATE. Nigeria. This road also serve as a route to Delta State and Rivers State. This is the only road that can take you to nearby state in a short hour, from Owerri. The road was constructed and abandon half way by HARDEL AND ENIC construction company at the year 2002/2004. The road was also constructed and abondon half way by the new governor of Imo state. The road has been awarded but the government choose to neglect the road due to the inability to pay the Contractors. The students, people of Nekede, Ihiagwa and Obinze have suffered greatly on this road, The Federal government in conjunction with Federal ministry of Works should act towards the remedy for this road because of those recognized great Higher institution located along this road inorder to save life's and properties. The road will enhance the economic activities and create more jobs for the youths in that area if constructed. From the route survey, the road needs a scrarificaton of soils, cut to fill, 200mm subgrade, 200mm stone base ,Serious compaction, spreading of 60mm asphaltic binder course and 40mm asphaltic wearing course including wide drain and 5 no. 1m *1m Culvert. Therefore, I urge the federal government to seek to the urgent construction of this road.

A Federal road of 15 kilometers with a long span Bridge of 220 meters.
UDO-OBIZI, EZINIHITTE MBAISE, IMO STATE to UMUWANWA, ABIA STATE ROAD.
The formal Governor of Imo state, Chief Achike Udenwa awarded this highway from Achingali to Udo Road, one of the most critical highway in the state that connects both Imo and Abia states , this road was awarded to HAPEL NIG. LTD construction company and later abandon by WASCON NIG LTD. The project was abandon by the same government that awarded and his predecessor and also the last government that handed over to the Amiable Governor Rt. Hon E Ihedioha.
Originally this road was constructed then by the Governor Mbakwe of the blessed memory.
This past administrators of Imo state have left this road under the state of dismay ,
I wish to also put this road to whole world to see and also to the present day government to showcase this act of neglect by the past governments of Imo state.
This road has been politicized by the politicians for a very long time.
Udo Autonomous Community covers an area of approximately fifty (50) square kilometers. Udo is situated west of IMO river bounded on the East by Umuwanwa in Abia state, west by Obokwu/Obizi community in Ezinihitte Mbaise L.G.A, On the south by Nsirimo in Abia state and on the North by Avutu Obowo L.G.A. IMO state. Udo Keep a distance of about thirty (30) kilometers from state capital, Owerri. IMO state.
The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, in his efforts to address decay, enhancement of living standard of the people and improvement of Social economic life should AWARD the Udo-Obizi Ezinihitte Mbaise, IMO state road to Umuwanwa, Abia state road with a long span Bridge.
From the Condition survey of the route, the roads required total reconstruction of road pavement, the pavement design for the road should meet up with the required standard and specifications for Federal roads. The works will require the scarification of the exi
