In 2022, I made a decision that changed the course of my destiny forever. I burned the past—not literally, but in spirit. Every setback, every disappointment, every wrong turn, I placed them all in the fire of resolve. And as the ashes settled, I vowed never to revisit them again.
Why? Because life has taught me that you cannot drive forward while staring into the rearview mirror. The past has lessons, yes, but it also has chains—and those chains are only strong if you allow them to bind you. I chose to break free. I chose to stop reliving what was lost and start building what could be gained.
This wasn’t just a resolution; it was a covenant with myself. I understood that as long as I kept holding onto old hurts, I was delaying my future. So, I closed the door. I didn’t just lock it—I welded it shut. That’s the mindset that gave birth to the new me.
From that moment, every day became a new page, not a continuation of an old story. I poured my energy into creating opportunities, mentoring others, and pushing beyond limits. I stopped explaining my scars and instead started showcasing my vision. I stopped asking "why me?" and started declaring "watch me!"
And here’s what I want my audience to understand: your past is not a prison, unless you keep walking back into it. Burn it. Walk away from it. Make peace with it, then vow never to revisit. Because the future has no space for regrets—it only welcomes faith, focus, and forward motion.
Today, I am proof that when you let go of yesterday, tomorrow rewards you with unimaginable possibilities. In 2022, I buried my past. In 2023, I planted my future. And now, every year forward is a harvest.
So, if you’re reading this right now, take this to heart: you don’t have to stay in the same cycle. Decide. Commit. Move. No body burry your placenta there! The best version of you is waiting on the other side of the fire.
I am CF, and my story is living proof that you can go the distance—once you dare to let the past burn.
