*If you want something go and steal. Stop asking people for it*
This is what somebody's status read yesterday. This got me thinking for a while 🤔. Perhaps he is right? Perhaps honest work doesn't pay? Remove the honesty. Work doesn't pay. Let's just do some ritual or violently take from the rich what they have so they feel what it is like not to have. Another suggested prayer. While I feel the pain and desperation of the first guy while understanding the need for help from the second guy life has taught me one thing. Nobody owes anybody anything. Even those you were or are kind to sometimes don't reciprocate the same gesture back to you. Only the equilibrium of life cycles back to you the same kindness to which you mete others. You have to keep trying as you don't know the actions that will yield you the result you so desperately desire. One thing is sure if you don't try you have nothing to expect.
This is where I come in with my campaign. Societies grow by the solutions their people provide. Our society is filled with complain mongers who would rather whine and cry and moan and grumble but rather do nothing other than complaint and prayer 🛐. Our government with all its effort appears inefficient because they are doing the same thing you're doing. They are not leveraging the power of the internet. Do you know you can make 10x more of what you're making with the power of the internet? Do you know it is obsolete to work with your power and time these days? A little sacrifice of being at the right place at the right time and doing the right thing at the right time could save you so much stress and trauma. A stitch in time saves nine. Take, for example, you sell wrappers, rent a shop, go there every day, pay transport, clean it up, etc. Roughly on the minimum, you pay shop rent 200k, transport and feeding while at the shop for the month 30k, 360k for the year, cost of cleaning, na you know, same for the cost of marketing and follow up of customers, etc. At the end of the year, you wey no get money would spend grossly over a million. At this rate, you're a millionaire but don't know it. All that money came out from you. Don't forget the cost of the wrappers. I can go on and on with examples. But what if you had a website, all the cost you need to incur is the cost of buying the wrappers which you sell. No need for a warehouse except if you can afford it. A typical example is Jumia, Konga, and the likes. Where is their shop? The answer is online. Where is their customers? The answer is everywhere. How are they able to reach these customers? Through paid ad. It's good that you have WhatsApp, Facebook and the likes. Take it further by owning a website of your own. A professional website costs you 70k and upwards yearly, paid ad 20k monthly, 240 yearly, no need for shop and its gross expenses. Your annual gross expenditure has been reduced by at least 50% thereby giving room for other improvements/things that matter in your life and family.
Remember that money wey you no get is still going to come out from you. That money wey you dey find will still come to you. When it comes, what will you do with it?
I beg you to engage and damn the consequences. Nothing good comes easy. And please, if you want something, don't go and steal. Work for it.
