Below are the travel updates round the world.
1. On July 15, 2020. Most European airports commence operations.
2. July 15 France opened door for tourists and everyone seeking entry into France.
French embassy in Nigeria are yet to resume Visa services, hopefully will resume before month end.
3. UK will start Visa application services and appointments from July 27, 2020.
4. Turkish embassy resumes Visa services since 3 months ago and are issuing Visa travel ban notwithstanding.
5. New Zealand have lifted all travel restrictions.
6. Australia have lifted her travel restrictions after 2 weeks of no outbreak of corona virus, the country believed to have won the fight against the virus.
7. US embassy will resume next month.
8. Currently 4 embassies have opened at VFS Lagos, accepting applications for study permit, work permit and family reunion only. Those embassies are Italy, Ireland, Denmark and Norway.
9. European Union will review the travel ban placed on some countries because of COVID-19 Pandemic next week.
After the review travel restrictions will be lifted on some countries, hopefully Nigeria might be among.
Please understand that Nigeria is not the only country banned from entering Europe, US and other countries were banned too. EU believed that those countries banned have not been able to bring corona virus under control.
That's why EU run a 2 weeks review to review and lift the ban from countries found eligible.
11. Canada will start welcoming tourists from August 1, 2020. To this end, anybody can apply for Canada Visa now irrespective of your travel purpose.
12. International flights resumption date yet to announced, hopefully will resume before month end.
13. Passengers for domestic flights are advised to be in the airport at least 1 hour 30 minutes before departure, against 3 hours to was earlier announced by FAAN.
14. Australia is open for all to travel now.
15. The travel ban in UAE is still in place. We advice all our clients and followers not to apply for UAE Visa, pending on when the ban will be lifted. Because any application submitted will be refused.
