So Yesterday, a friend and I had a conversation about how important it is to take as many pictures as we can with our parents, because life can happen at any time, without prior notice.
So today, straight after church, I ran to my parents and said, “Let’s take a picture.”
The picture isn’t perfect, the pose isn’t perfect, and honestly, it wasn’t even planned. But someday, this picture will mean so much more than how perfect it looked.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not really about the picture… it’s about the people in it, the memories we created, and the fact that we were here together.
Take the pictures. Record the moments. Hug your parents a little tighter.
Life doesn’t always give us prior notice. And sometimes, the imperfect pictures become our most precious memories.
