the management of resources and planning is vital for individuals organizations and societal growths.for an individual, and organizations and society at large to achieve its desire objectives, they must manage the resources at their disposal in such a way to obtain optimum utilisation. it is against this background that the failure and success of nations state, organizations and individuals lies primarily with the management of their resources. in Nigeria for instance, the country is blessed with both natural and human resources, but the irony of this statement lies primarily with the mismanagement of the available resources at their disposal.the country would have been on the path of development if their resources are harness to it full utilisation. but the problem of this country is the corruption nature of the leaders we have. the leaders in this country are corrupt, self centered, selfish and are unconcerned with the plight of ordinary people. managers are to be aware that the growth of their organisation depends on the available resources at their disposal and the availability of these resources also depends on the management and planning. failure to plan and manage these resources very well will automatically crippled an individual, business organizations and society at large.
