This sensitization was focused on educating the people of Kurudu village in FCT Abuja on the effects of FGM(female ge***al mutilation) which leads to depression, low self esteem, vulnerable to diseases and in sometimes death.
In the course of the campaign our Queen (Ruth Shilo) met with a young lady who didn’t know she was Cut by her mother only for to know discover when her Mother stoop up to say she CUT her. At the end of it all the community agreed that FGM is bad and should not be practiced.
