His Excellency Dr. Fahad Al Taffaq, the UAE 🇦🇪 Ambassador to Nigeria hosted us to a business meeting today at his office.
The meeting was invaluable and largely insightful. It was easy to understand why and how the Emirates became a world power worthy of reckoning.
By the way, His Excellency the UAE Ambassador will be turning 40 in 5 days time. I mean 40years! He’s not a career ambassador but a private business man drafted into the diplomatic corps as an Ambassador!
Talking of changing narratives and disruptive thinking.
The mantra for the Emirates is “Impossible is Possible”. Can you beat that?!!! The mindset is set to disrupt.
The lessons from our meeting are to numerous to mention but I need you to focus on the lessons from my brief description here first.
Nigeria is laidback as a result of obsolete and retrogressive thought and action patterns.
What is the average age of our Leaders and Diplomatic Ambassadors abroad?
What is their background?
What is our leadership direction?
We cannot transform Nigeria without transcending our mindset! We can’t!
Even at our worst and lowest ebb, world powers still need us! Just imagine if we thought differently beyond primordial sentiments and selfishness!
We can’t keep doing the same things 60yrs later, and expecting a different result!
This meeting was indeed transformative for me because it is obvious that in every UAE 🇦🇪 leader, lies the mindset of their founding fathers.
We have to disrupt Nigerian Leadership at all levels for Nigeria to move forward. It’s a task that must be done against all odds!
Don’t be fooled because you are benefiting from the present system because it’s not sustainable at all! It’s actually grinding to a halt definitely if we don’t change direction now!
The time is now!
