Yesterday, the LVG Team had the honour of attending the Young Women’s Leadership Conference hosted by Rinsola Abiola, DG of CLTC.
The conference brought together an impressive gathering of leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries committed to empowering young women and advancing meaningful conversations around leadership and development.
One of the highlights of the event was the powerful keynote address delivered by Hajia Hadiza Bala Usman, whose thought-provoking speech set a compelling tone before the panel sessions commenced. The Secretary General of WRAPA also delivered an insightful speech, further enriching the dialogue on women’s leadership and social impact.
The conference featured three engaging panel sessions covering critical areas of growth and nation-building:
▪️ Panel 1: Leadership, Governance and Public Affairs
▪️ Panel 2: Business and Entrepreneurship
▪️ Panel 3: Technology and Digital Skills
A particularly inspiring moment was the empowerment of 12 attendees with ₦50,000 each to support their micro businesses, facilitated by Mr. Charles Odii of SMEDAN, a practical demonstration of commitment to entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
For the LVG Team, it was more than an event; it was a room filled with ideas, courage, purpose, and possibility. We appreciate the organizers and speakers for creating a platform that not only inspires conversation but drives action and impact.
