It's my birthday tomorrow. And it hit me, how a lot can change in one year.
I've connected and made great friends like you, and I've lost some (just my last birthday, Chaz B came and danced with me, today he's no longer here *sad..*tears)..
Things change.
An hour before the election announcement, Dangote was with Jonathan. And hour later, he was seen in a picture with Buhari!
Did you know that Forbes valued Blackberry brand at $6.1billion and Nokia at 27.3b (9th global brands) just 2 years ago, but just $2.2billion and 7.7B respectively this year, both kicked out of the top 100's.
Like empires, people and brands fall and rise.
We as a team in Hexavia has grown in the last one year.
Welcome to life, where tables turn. When you’re on top, the aerial view is the ‘wrongest’ view to the world.
To stay in competition you need to LEARN (new ideas), UNLEARN (obsolete ones) and RELEARN (what has been forgotten).
I got a call today from someone prominent and I respect, because
It's my birthday tomorrow ( we will have quite a silent/exclusive dinner/ get together for my closest friends, associated and clients after the Masterclass in a hotel in Ikoyi). He prayed and spoke on all we've achieved as a team with us all in our 20’s. But he said,
“Remember Congratulations sometimes is a word you should be afraid of.” but I agree
Success is the greatest enemy of success.
Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking that they cannot lose. After you stand on your feet, stay on your toes. In the words of David Ben Gurion,
“It’s not enough to be up to date. You have to be up to tomorrow.” what steps have you taken for the future, with your mind.
I'll see you tomorrow at the Masterclass// And in the spirit of my birthday, to still attend, there's a 50percent off, just so we can "turn up", together after it.//PING.
