The largest capacity building platform of Network Managers, System Administrators and other stakeholders in Nigerian Higher Education. Dear ngNOG Community,

We are excited to announce that ngNOG is marking its 20th anniversary, and as part of the celebration, we will be hosting two special workshops this year.

June 2026 The first workshop will take place in Abuja.

October 2026 The second workshop will be held in Lagos.

These workshops are part of our anniversary activities and are aimed at bringing the community together to celebrate two decades of collaboration, learning, and growth within Nigeria’s network operator ecosystem.

More details, including dates, venues, and registration information, will be shared in due course. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you.

The Workshop was all about action, three days of deep technical learning, collaboration, and innovation!

Participants explored Internet Routing and BGP, Linux systems, Docker, Portainer, and Grafana, gaining hands-on experience in managing and monitoring modern networks.

Special thanks to NSRC, Brian Candler, Nina Hjorth Bargisen, Anna Secka Saine, Patrick Okui, Adewale Oronti, and Cletus Okolie for driving capacity building toward stronger, smarter, and more secure networks.

The Nigerian Network Operators Group (ngNOG), in collaboration with the Network Startup and Resource Centre (NSRC) of the University of Oregon, USA (https://nsrc.org/), invites network engineers, ISP operators, and internet infrastructure professionals to an Internet Routing and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Workshop.

We at ngNOG deeply mourn the loss of our esteemed instructor, Mr. Christopher Anthony Machu. He was not only a brilliant teacher but also a mentor, guide, and friend to many in our community.

Through his dedication, patience, and passion for sharing knowledge, he inspired countless network engineers and left an indelible mark on the industry's growth.
