GUIDELINES FOR VACCINE ADMINISTRATION IN POULTRY PRODUCTION

1. Provide sufficient number of drinkers for equal accessibility
2. Avoid the use of chlorinated water or you neutralize it with skimmed milk 2.5g/L of water
3. Avoid the use of antimicrobial agents 3 days before administration of vaccine
4. Do not vaccinate sick birds
5. Do not go for more than one vaccination programme per week
6. Give antistress 2-3 day before and after vaccination
7. Make sure a cold-chain is maintained for the preservation of all your vaccines
8. For oral administration of vaccine make sure the quantity of diluents required for reconstitution is adequate for consumption within 2 hours
