# creation of employment for 100 Akure youths through ticketing #
Residents of Akure, the Ondo State capital was stranded on Wednesday 9th,August as taxi drivers under the aegis of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) protested the astronomical hike in the price of ticket from N200 to N350.
The taxi drivers asked for the immediate downward review of their ticket fee of N350 which they claimed also included the Local Government ticket fee.
At the branch and unit parks the ticket is #750 daily, apart from bookings, emblems, festivals money e.t.c.
The protesting taxi drivers are saying capital NO to increase in ticketing fee because this would further put hardship on the passengers in this current economic situation”,
My suggestion,the Government through the ministry of youths and sports in conjunction with ministry of transport should employed capable youths to be in charge of the ticketing both the commercial motors and motorcycles in Akure.
The ticket should be then put to #250 daily for all commercial drivers,may be #200 for all motorcycle Ridders.
In my last survey,I realised that about 6,500 commercial transport were in Akure,if 5000 were to collect daily ticket,on vehicles,our Government will realise over #1.2M daily.
The past government's survey made us realised that about 5000 commercial motorcycle Ridders were in Àkure alone,if this figure is to collect daily ticket of #200,the summation is
# 1million daily.
With this amounts the ministry can successfully employed 100 of unemployed Akure graduates and pay them #20,000 monthly each.
I am not suggesting to stop any union for performing,the Union can levied any amounts on their members but not on the streets.
Thuggery and harassments of people by these unions will stop,so far there is freedom of entry and dismembership in association.
I understand,this idea may not go well with some,but this governor may be the best ever if he could employed these youths immediately, and stop compensating a union with people's taxes.
Even,some of the Union bigwigs brothers and sisters are jobless over there,the government both local and state could earned #75,000,000 per month,even,by giving this job to consultant.
Note,ticketing is a means for government to generate revenue for the state,not for some union alone,so,I am calling on all the youths in Akure to join me to call on our own hon.Abegunde,hon.Saka ogunleye,hon.omowumi edet,those in assemblies, the Deji of our kingdom and all sons and daughters of Akureland to press on the Governor to give us this.
If this is been granted, his government will not broke of money,I am assuring him that his party will surely win all sits from Akure in coming 2019 elections.

2019: Over 300,000 youths throw weight behind Atiku’s presidential ambition.AS the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Thursday, released time table for 2019 general elections, over 300, 000 youths under the auspices of Concerned Nigerian Youth Development Organisation, CNYDO, have declared their support and endorsement for former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to the next President come 2019. This was contained in statement released on Friday and signed by the National Coordinator, CNYDO, Comrade Joel Edegba, where he described Abubakar as man of the voiceless and downtrodden Nigerians. The statement reads in part, “We in Concerned Nigerian Youth Development Organisation, CNYDO, with over 300, 000 membership in 30 states have deemed it necessary to support and endorse former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, (Turakin Adamawa), as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, come 2019 by the grace of God. “We have carefully assessed the political ideology, track record, achievement and competence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as former Vice President and seen that he is the man that can bring the expected change in Nigeria. “We are endeared to his commitment demonstrated towards the welfare and well being of Nigerians that are down trodden and forgotten. We are assuring His Excellency our maximal support for his ambition and as part of his move to liberate Nigerians, the youths in particular from the shackles of unemployment, poverty, social vices and stagnated progress by ensuring that he is elected as Nigeria’s next President in 2019. “Based on his political achievements, prudent manager of human and material resources, a detribalised Nigerian, non-religious and non-region biased nature and understanding in approaching issues that affects the different ethnic and tribal groups in the country we declare that Nigeria will be in safe hands of Atiku. Explaining the rational and decision by CNYDO to declare its support for the Former Vice President the statement further reads, “We fell in love with his passion for the ordinary Nigerians by extending his hand of love and compassion to them as he has given lifeline and hope to many Nigerians both known and unknown. “We also discovered that Turkin has been a man who has thrown his weight behind the voice of the minority ethnic groups in Nigeria, and recently, passionately supported the call for restructuring of Nigeria and true federalism, which majority of Nigerians have been agitating for long time.” According to the statement the APC chieftain’s political ideology have been people based, by being centred on egalitarianism, given back resources to the states for proper utilisation and development of their people and also for all to enjoy maximally what God has blessed them with.

2019: Atiku’s Emergence Would End Igbo Marginalization – PDM South East:

The Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM at the weekend expressed hope that should Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerges as the next President of the country come 2019, the lingering issue of marginalisation and under-development being suffered by Ndigbo would be given a holistic solution and would become a thing of the past.
In a statement issued in Enugu, signed by the PDM Promoter in the South East, Dr. Haroun Ajah and made available to LEADERSHIP called on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest the next presidential election as the party would give him full support and cooperation to achieve his political ambition.
The statement read in part: “Leadership is a trust on behalf of God and the people, therefore, we expect from the Presidency of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come May, 2019 to run an all inclusion government and administration in Nigeria where Ndigbo will equally be at the commanding levels of Federal Government Authorities and Agencies.
“I implore the National Caretaker Committee of PDM party and the Grand Guru Baba PDM, Ibrahim Gusau in particular to work very hard to ensure that people with respect, courage, commitment and integrity emerge as Leaders of the Peoples Democratic movement, PDP party in the forthcoming congresses and National convention.
“I call on the former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Turakin Adamawa to contest the next general elections. We are aware that the Turakin Adamawa is not a member of PDM party but certainly we all in the South East Nigeria and beyond will give him full support and cooperation on any platform, he Turakin Adamawa may wish to contest the next general election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
According to him, Atiku’s call for the restructuring of Nigeria remains the only way to a better administrative system for Nigeria.
“It is our belief that the wonderful idea of restructuring Nigeria as the commitment to achieve true federalism in Nigeria can only be carried out by courageous and patriotic person like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President of Nigeria.
