What do Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and the Google founders have in common? They created value. They never gave up even when they were spending money on the business.

Elon Musk couldn't make rent and had only $20,000. His wife left him. He kept at it and today he's the richest man in the world

Steve Jobs was paying the salary of staff in two companies, NEXT and Pixar, that we're not making revenue or profit. Yet he persisted. Next was what became Apple. And Pixar is the father of animation. He died as the highest shareholder of Disney

Jeff Bezos kept moving from one failure to another. Amazon wasn't making profits but it kept growing and expanding. Today Amazon and all it's subsidiaries are interacting with the globe.

People may not believe in your vision but you do. Some partners will drop when you're not making money. Focus on the long-term. Creating wealth is a long term thing. Those who make money hardly have it last beyond themselves.

But those who create wealth, create new capability and platform for money people to become rich. They birth new companies. This is what Nigeria needs. And we will make it happen.

In 2000, as a fresh engineering graduate, I thought my degree was my value. But I realized, it was no better than a piece of paper. My value was in my mindset and skill set.

So I started using my salary to increase my value. 6 years of consistent investment to become better made me a consultant to the Ondo State Auditor General. A few years after, I had work with oil companies.

One day, Total called me and I didn't like what we were offering and I turned down the deal. To date, I am not sure they moved on with the project. I was recommended by the France HQ.

What took me from a graduate earning that amount to someone sought after internationally is what I wrote in this book.

You spent 21 or more years in the school system than on graduation, the industry tells you that you are unemployable.

What was school serving then? Isn't school supposed to help you be and to industry, government, and society?

isn't school suppose to prepare you to create and ?

The present school system has its limits. As such it limits people from unleashing their potential.

We will experiment with a school system that cultivates and nurtures the potential of students and prepare and equip them to create the and not play catch up.

imagine a school system that trains students to be employable and valuable to industry and equips them to solve and build businesses that will scale.

Why do we all go to school? is it not to get a good job and be paid well.

The future is out of this school. we need school systems that prepare students for such a world.

Truly Human Education transforms ordinary people into engaged citizens and leaders who are courageous enough to care and are skillful to perform and create value wherever they are. It is the best instrument to build a better world.

I have a dream that one day schools will be platforms for developing people's abilities, equipping them to live their dreams and make a difference, and empowering them to be of service in society. Education should not only be about teaching new things but bringing out those things inside people. It should be about both impression and expression.

As my 7-year-old son prepare for exams, he came to me with his notes to help him out. I pitied him and wondered why someone will punish him with exams.

When companies use higher salaries as bait to attract talent, it's often an attempt to hide their culture to attract someone who is desperate enough to take the offer. A company with a human-centered culture will not use a higher salary as bait, but who they will help you become and the freedom you will enjoy working with them.

A company with human-centered culture will put in place policies and programs that will support the realization of the promise of value made to talents. Their focus is on human transformation and creating an environment that helps unleash the potential of the employee.

There is this story about Abraham and Lot in the Bible. They had two options to choose from: a company that offered better pay and one that doesn’t.

The culture of a company can make a big difference in how people live their lives. It can make society advance and build a better world. By changing how people feel about themselves, it can change the way they see the world, their behaviors, and how they treat others. Building a Truly Human Culture can change the world.

If the compensation of a company is the reason employees are attracted to it, it will continue to lose valuable employees. However, if the culture is what attracts people to it, it will continually keep and attract the best. The culture a company designs become its competitive edge.

There is a cost to having a bad culture. Most organizations don’t really take this into consideration.
