Dear small business owners,
Let’s talk about gaining visibility for your small business.
Sometimes you wonder why you make daily post about your business but no sales.
You watch other business owners brag about how they make millions on Facebook and Instagram and you are just left in awe and wonder of how they do the magic.
My dear there is no magic, it’s called gaining VISIBILITY.
Once what you post (be it product or service ) gets the right visibility, it gets seen by your potential customers and instant customers.
So you see, there is no magic.
You too can make millions online without owning a physical store.
You just need to learn and understand the concept of gaining social media visibility.
As a small business owner who desire to be seen, make sales and grow your reach, here are few simple things you need to do,
1. Build a strong Facebook presence.
Facebook frowns when you are not consistent with your activities here on Facebook. Facebook expects you to post regularly, and not just that, Facebook frowns at you just coming online to post and disappear.
You must stay online to interact with those who like and comment on you post and your DMs too.
When you have new followers, welcome them and make them feel valued. By doing so, they keep engaging whenever you make a new post or have a product to sell or a service to render. This can be called having a relationship with your followers and customers.
By posting consistently, staying online to respond to comments and Dms and welcoming your new followers, Facebook sees your efforts and the algorithm starts to work in your favour. This is when Facebook starts to suggest your page to people who will be interested in it. This is an organic way of gaining visibility on Facebook.
2. Build an online trust.
Show us what you do. Do not just come online to tell us what you do. Show proof that you are actually the one behind the page and not a scam.
Show us your face
show us your business or working environment
show us reviews and business conversations and deals that you have done, sold or delivered.
Show us when you are going to deliver a goods or service to a client
show us when you are in a business meeting
A lot of small businesses owners are real but are too shy. For you to sell online you must stop being shy. Be bold enough to show your face on videos , both live and camera.
A business without an address is most times viewed as scam so put up your locations so people will be sure of who you are and where you are.
This also can grant you organic visibility here on Facebook.
3. The most important thing to do after creating a strong online presence and building a good online relationship and trust with your followers and potential customers,
The next thing to do is to run a “Facebook and Instagram sales ad”
No matter how much you think your small business is making or how much profit you are making as a small business owner, it can’t be compared to running ad.
Running Ads means running an advertisement here on Facebook or Instagram.
Running Ads will expose you and your business only to new followers, clients, customers who are are willing to buy instantly, like, or follow your business page. And when you gain a new follower, it means the person likes you and what you are selling and is a potential customer or client.
There has never been any loss recorded in running Ads as a business owners.
Do not be scared, there is no big business which you admire that don’t run ads.
Or have you not though about this, if you do not run ads on Facebook how do you sell always?
Relying on just your followers will slow your business and you won’t get to sell always because it might take a customer 6months+ to come back for a product.
But Ads exposes you to new clients and customers always.
Dear small business owners, think about it. There is NO WAY you can grow without running ads.
So I advise you learn how to run ads. Start on Facebook and Instagram first, then you can milk other social platform market opportunities.
I hope this is useful, if it is then drop a heart ❤️ emoji for us on the comment section.
You are welcome.
