Every small thing, a typical Nigerian will treat malaria and typhoid. Antimicrobial resistance means that antibiotics no longer work for you because of its misuse over time.
Trust me, it is a very scary situation to be in. Use antibiotics only when it is appropriate.
If you have malaria as confirmed by either mRDT or MP, treat malaria with antimalarial medications. Leave antibiotics....you don't have typhoid.
You can only confirm typhoid through Stool m/c/s.

I am posting this because you people don't understand how dangerous resistance truly is, stop abusing medication and stick to the dose regimen. It typically takes 10-15 years for a new drug(Antibiotics) to come into the market (that's if it eventually does), if your body stops responding to the ones available in the market...omo you're on your own...Your immune system is left at the mercy of Faith...
