One of the biggest misconceptions after school is that success is mainly about where someone graduated from or who they know.

But real life has a way of proving otherwise.

Two people can pass through the same system, sit in the same classrooms, and graduate with similar certificates.

Yet their realities after school can look completely different.

One spends most of their time saying there are no jobs and everything is about โ€œconnection.โ€

The other is already building something, getting clients, and earning from a skill they learned outside the classroom.

The difference is not always intelligence.
It is preparation.

As Benjamin Franklin once said, โ€œAn investment in knowledge pays the best interest.โ€

And in todayโ€™s world, that investment is not limited to formal education alone. It includes skills that can be applied in real time, in real markets, and in real opportunities.

This is why many young people struggle after graduation. Not because they are incapable, but because they were not exposed early enough to skills that create value beyond certificates.

The truth is simple: the world does not always pay for what you studied. It pays for what you can do.

What this means in practical terms:
โ€ข Start learning a skill, even while still in school or NYSC
โ€ข Focus on skills that solve real problems (design, video editing, writing, tech, etc.)
โ€ข Practice consistently instead of waiting for perfection
โ€ข Build something small first, even if it is not perfect
โ€ข Look for ways to turn what you learn into value for others

This is why at Reliable Global Concept, the focus is not just on teaching video editing, but on helping students and corpers build practical digital skills that can create income, opportunity, and independence.

Training is designed to be simple, flexible, and beginner-friendly, whether in physical classes at Awka or through virtual learning.

Because the goal is not just to learn a skill.
It is to be able to use it.

DAY TWO ADDRESS TO OUR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING STUDENTS
By Dr. Nzubechukwu Ekebosi
CEO, Reliable Group of Companies

Good day everyone,

I want to specially welcome you all once again to Day Two of your Industrial Training program at Reliable Group of Companies. Yesterday marked the beginning of your practical journey with us, and today we continue that process with greater focus and expectations.

As you have already seen, this training is designed to go beyond theoretical knowledge. The classroom will give you certificates, but practical skills and experience will make you valuable in the real world. That is why it is important that every lesson you are taught here is taken seriously and put into practice immediately.

In video editing and digital media, mastery only comes through constant practice. Watching tutorials alone will not make you an expert. Listening during training sessions without practicing what you have learned will limit your growth. The more you practice editing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and content creation, the more confident and skilled you will become.

I encourage every one of you to:

Pay close attention during each training session

Practice every task assigned to you

Ask questions when you are confused

Be creative and willing to learn from mistakes

Develop consistency in improving your skills daily

Remember, mistakes are part of the learning process. Do not be afraid to try. Every professional you admire today started as a beginner and became better through regular practice and determination.

At Reliable Group of Companies, we are committed to giving you the right platform, exposure, and mentorship, but your success will depend on how seriously you utilize this opportunity.

Take this training seriously because the digital world is creating opportunities for people with relevant skills. What you learn here can become a source of income, career advancement, and even entrepreneurship opportunities in the future.

Let Day Two be a reminder that growth comes through action. Practice what you are being taught, stay disciplined, and remain committed to becoming better every day.

I wish you all a productive and impactful training experience.

Thank you.

INTRODUCTORY SPEECH TO INDUSTRIAL TRAINING STUDENTS
By Dr. Nzubechukwu Ekebosi
CEO, Reliable Group of Companies

Good day everyone,

I want to specially welcome our 300 Level students of History and International Relations, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, who are here for their Industrial Training (IT) and field experience program at Reliable Group of Companies. It is a pleasure to have you with us, and I commend you for taking this important step toward practical learning and professional development.

Industrial Training is beyond fulfilling an academic requirementโ€”it is an opportunity to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world experience. While your academic discipline focuses on history, diplomacy, governance, and international affairs, this training will expose you to practical digital skills that are highly relevant in todayโ€™s world.

At Reliable Group of Companies, we believe that degrees are important, but skills give you an extra advantage. The world is changing rapidly, and professionals in every field now need digital competence to remain relevant and competitive.

You are here today to learn video editing skills, which is one of the most valuable digital skills in modern media, communication, branding, entertainment, public relations, and even international engagements. Governments, organizations, embassies, media houses, NGOs, and businesses all rely on visual storytelling and digital communication, and video editing plays a major role in that process.

During this training, you will be exposed to:

Basics of video editing and storytelling

Understanding editing software and tools

Cutting, trimming, and arranging clips professionally

Adding transitions, effects, and sound design

Color correction and branding elements

Social media content editing

Professional ethics in media production

Client service and project delivery

However, I want you to understand that technical knowledge alone is not enough. Your success during this training will largely depend on your attitude.

Expectations from You:

1. Be punctual โ€“ Respect time and schedules.

2. Be ready to learn โ€“ Ask questions and stay curious.

3. Be disciplined โ€“ Maintain professionalism at all times.

4. Be creative โ€“ Bring fresh ideas and innovation.

5. Be consistent โ€“ Growth comes with regular practice.

6. Be respectful โ€“ Value your trainers, colleagues, and clients.

At Reliable Group of Companies, we do not just train studentsโ€”we build future professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Some of you may discover career opportunities in media and communication, while others may use these skills to support your careers in diplomacy, administration, public service, or entrepreneurship.

I encourage you to take this training seriously because the digital economy is growing rapidly, and those who position themselves with relevant skills will always remain valuable.

Do not be afraid to make mistakes during this learning process. Mistakes are part of growth, but ensure you learn quickly and improve daily.

By the end of this program, I expect each of you to have developed practical editing skills that can help you earn income, build your portfolio, and contribute meaningfully to any organization you find yourself in.

Once again, welcome to Reliable Group of Companies. I wish you a productive, impactful, and rewarding Industrial Training experience.

Thank you, and God bless you.

Hi, Iโ€™m Dr. Nzube Ekebosi, and Iโ€™m a realtor who truly cares about helping you find the perfect home.

Let me share a quick story. One day, a client came to me feeling overwhelmed by the thought of buying a home. They werenโ€™t sure if the process was worth it or if the right home even existed for them. Instead of just listing properties, I talked to them about my own experience. I said, โ€œIโ€™ve seen firsthand how the right home can change your life. There was a time when I found a property that not only suited my needs but also gave me a sense of security and pride. It made my daily life so much better because it was a place I could truly call my own.โ€

By sharing my own journey and the benefits I experienced, I helped my client see that buying a home isnโ€™t just a financial decisionโ€”itโ€™s about creating a space where life happens. They began to see the value in investing in a home that meets their dreams and needs.

When you connect personally and show the real impact a home can have on your life, it makes customers feel like they really need what youโ€™re offering. Itโ€™s not just about selling a property; itโ€™s about offering a better future.

Iโ€™m Dr. Nzube Ekebosi, a realtor whoโ€™s here to help you find your perfect home.

Starting a business is tough, and statistics show that about 90% of them fail within the first five years. Here are some simple reasons and hard truths behind this high failure rate:

1. Lack of a Clear Plan: Many business owners start without a solid business plan. Without clear goals and a step-by-step strategy, itโ€™s hard to navigate challenges or measure progress.

2. Poor Cash Flow Management: Money matters. If a business doesnโ€™t have enough cash to pay bills, cover expenses, or invest in growth, it quickly runs into troubleโ€”even if the idea is good.

3. Not Meeting Market Needs: Some businesses fail because they offer products or services that customers donโ€™t really need. Researching the market and understanding what people want is essential.

4. Ineffective Marketing: A great product isnโ€™t enough if no one knows about it. Many businesses struggle because they donโ€™t invest in marketing or know how to reach their target audience.

5. Weak Leadership and Management: Running a business requires strong leadership and the ability to manage a team, make decisions, and adapt to changes. Poor management can lead to mistakes that cost the business dearly.

6. Stiff Competition: In many industries, competition is fierce. New businesses often fail because they canโ€™t keep up with larger, more established competitors or fail to offer something unique.

7. Ignoring Customer Feedback: Listening to customers can help a business improve its offerings and service. Businesses that ignore feedback risk losing their customer base over time.

The hard truth is that building a successful business takes more than just a good ideaโ€”it requires careful planning, smart money management, strong leadership, and the ability to adapt to the market. Learning from these lessons can help new businesses better prepare for the challenges ahead.

The Business of the Future

The world is changing fast, and so is the way businesses operate. The businesses that will thrive in the future are not just those that sell products or services but those that solve real problems, adapt to technology, and put customers first.

Technology is Leading the Way

The future belongs to businesses that embrace technology. Companies that use artificial intelligence, automation, and digital platforms will grow faster than those stuck in old ways. Businesses that sell online, use social media, and provide digital services will have an advantage over those that rely only on physical locations.

Innovation and Creativity Will Win

A business that wants to survive must be creative. People are tired of the same old things. Customers are looking for new, better, and more convenient ways to solve their problems. Whether itโ€™s in food, fashion, education, or health, innovation will set successful businesses apart.

Customer Satisfaction is Key

The businesses that will last are those that value their customers. Itโ€™s not just about selling; itโ€™s about giving people a great experience. Quick response to complaints, quality products, and excellent customer service will help businesses grow.

Sustainability and Social Responsibility Matter

The world is paying more attention to sustainability. Future businesses will not only be about making money but also about making an impact. Companies that care about the environment, support their communities, and treat employees well will gain more trust and success.

The business of the future is not just about moneyโ€”itโ€™s about solving problems, embracing technology, and putting people first. To succeed, businesses must be smart, flexible, and willing to evolve with the times. The future is for those who prepare for it today.

Starting a business is exciting, but letโ€™s be honestโ€”the first year is tough. Many people give up because they didnโ€™t expect the struggles that come with running a business. If youโ€™re in your first year or about to start, let me share some real talk on how to overcome challenges and keep pushing forward.

1. Prepare for Slow Days

One hard truthโ€”customers wonโ€™t come rushing in immediately. Some days, youโ€™ll barely make sales. Does this mean your business is failing? No! It simply means you need patience and strategy. Keep promoting your business, be consistent, and improve your products or services. Growth takes time.

2. Manage Your Money Wisely

One major mistake new business owners make is spending money carelessly. Your first-year profit is not your personal money. Reinvent in your business, save for emergencies, and be smart with expenses. You might not be able to buy that expensive phone yet, but if you manage well, youโ€™ll afford it later with ease.

3. Donโ€™t Expect Support from Everyone

Youโ€™ll be shocked that some close friends and family wonโ€™t patronize you. Donโ€™t take it personally. Instead of waiting for them, focus on finding real customers who need what you sell. Business is not about who knows youโ€”itโ€™s about who values what you offer.

4. Market Yourself Without Shame

Some people start a business and feel shy to promote it. You post once and expect people to rush you. No, it doesnโ€™t work that way. If you donโ€™t promote your business, how will people know what you do? Tell people, post online, wear your brand, and talk about it with confidence. Your business needs your voice.

5. Learn and Improve Daily

Every business has ups and downs. Donโ€™t just complain when things donโ€™t go wellโ€”learn from your mistakes and improve. If customers complain, donโ€™t get angry; listen and adjust. Watch what successful people in your field are doing and upgrade yourself.

6. Stay Strong and Keep Going

Truth is, you will feel like giving up at some point. You will doubt yourself, but remember why you started. Success takes time. Be patient, work hard, pray, and stay consistent.

The first year of business is full of lessons. Youโ€™ll face challenges, but if you stay focused, disciplined, and determined, youโ€™ll survive and grow. Keep pushing, keep learning, and keep believing in yourself. Your business will thrive.
