Inasmuch as this effort is really commendable, the governor has taken a right step but are we also aware that Edo state does not have a stadium of its own? Samuel Ogbemudia stadium is not Edo state stadium, it's an indoor sport complex. I think it's time for the governor of Edo state to start the construction of Edo state stadium because other states have their own stadium, take delta for instance! Do your findings on how many stadium delta state have, the proposed site for Edo state stadium off Godwin Abbey Way have been neglected by he government thereby giving way for the community to sell almost all the land which was supposed to be for the stadium to anyone who can afford it. I also think it's time the citizens of Edo state to begin to ask questions, do some findings, engage the government on their rights as citizens because we all are the government and our leaders are been referred to as the State! It's time we demand for our rights ,it's time to put the 1999 constitution to work . The time is NOW! ~ Comrede Eng Dickson
