DRESS CODE FOR GREATNESS.
Greatness is often misconstrued by many to mean materialism and fame. Though this assertion held many could seem true in their opinion but greatness is far beyond this fallacious perception. The true meaning of greatness is using one’s talents, character, and influence to serve others and make a lasting positive impact, rather than simply pursuing power, wealth, or fame. It is anchored in humility, integrity, and personal growth, ultimately rising to a level where one’s life acts as a blessing to humanity and not necessarily about acquisition of wealth and assets as many people think.
To be great in life requires a certain dress code that differentiates an individual from the crowd. Dress code on the other hand is an accepted way of dressing for a particular occasion or in a social group, it also means rules governing your public appearance. Life itself has a set of rules that govern or dictate who becomes great and this requires a great deal of intentionality, patience, dedication and commitment overtime to achieve it.
The Dress Code for Greatness include but not limited to the following: Sound character formation, integrity, diligence, self-discipline, savings and investments, delayed gratification, development of an adequate friendship circle, planning and development of workable strategies, hardworking mentality, constant education and learning culture, acquisition of marketable skills, self-awareness among others.
Note, there is no accidental great person in life. Every great person is a product of all or some of the aforementioned dress codes and it is essential to clarify this to ensure that the intention of this write-up is not misunderstood. The difference between great people and weak people is in their understanding and application of these dress codes in their daily lives, work and personal relationships. Greatness requires a careful approach to life because mistakes are detrimental and could hamper timely achievement of greatness.
Nevertheless, it is important for one to note that his/her greatness is not the hands of any other person, it is purely in your hands. Therefore, one must endeavour to learn how to improve his/her public image and self-worth going forward because these are some of the indicators of greatness that promote marketability too. In summary, one’s greatness is his/her duty to achieve and no one should blame anyone for failure to achieve desired greatness because everyone of us is equally endowed by nature with resources and opportunities to become great to the level one aspires to become in life.
