UNIUYO Cut off Mark 2017/2018 – uniuyo.edu.ng.
There are certain criteria to be observed by students before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any university. One of these which include meeting the required cut of mark for each schools as well as the courses itself. It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required cut off mark for the admission into a particular course.
Cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basics of admitting students into the department of study. This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination. However, students who have scored above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in admission process above those who have met the exacts cut off mark.
UNIUYO JAMB Fixed Cut-off Mark 2017
Following the scrapping out of post UTME by the federal government, th e Joints Admission and Matriculation board (JAMB) had given a bench mark of 180 and above for candidates applying for Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education. Hit h erto, the University of Uyo has follow suit in the 180 general cut of mark of JAMB.
You might ask questions like: I had 180 and above but was not still given the admission to study my desired course?
Candidates with higher scores are first considered in admission basics candidates with lower scores though might meet the cut off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted. In fact, it is the higher your scores, the higher the chance of being admitted.
UNIUYO Departmental Cut-off Mark 2017
The University of Uyo does not really have a specific cut off mark for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of one 180 in UME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.
Due to the high number of students wishing to study in the university of Uyo, the admission processes is competitive and admissions is given based on the higher the jamb scores, the higher the chances of being admitted.

UNIUYO Nature of Admission Screening 2017
The University of Uyo holds her admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and it usually comes in two phases. Students who applied to study in the school are to proceed for the pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.
Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are: SSCE result and the registration print out only.
It is often important that a candidate arrive early and locate his/her screening venue early. Candidates will be screen on the JAMB scores and their SSCE result
The second phase of the screening is after the admission lists might have been released. Candidates who have merited the admission will be invited for another screening exercise. Here all documents such as;
Original copies of their educational qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
N/B: Cases of awaiting results will NOT be accepted.
Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
A letter of good conduct from your Village Head or a responsible member of your
community/or civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector.
Certificate of Local Government of origin; and this notification of admission status

UNIUYO Address and Locations
The University of Uyo is located in the heart of the town of Uyo, Akwa-ibom state Nigeria. The school has mainly three campuses in Uyo.
1. The University of Uyo main Campus, Ikpa Road
2. The University of Uyo annex campus, Ikpa Road/Ikot Ekpene Road
3. The University of Uyo Permanent site, Nwaniba Road
UNIUYO Permanent site hosts mainly the Engineering and Faculty of science. In addition to this, the campus also has the administrative block of the school.
The University of Uyo town Campus hosts mainly the faculty of Arts and Social Science. It remains the oldest campus of the school taking after the erstwhile Cross river state University.
The University of Uyo Annex campus has mainly the faculty of Law and the faculty of business administration. This campus is adjacent to the main gate of the school’s town campus.

The Nigeria Police on Tuesday, on Abuja, fired tear-gas canisters at protesters asking for President Muhammadu Buhari to either return to the country, or resign.

Armed Policemen who also used dogs to scare away the protesters, manhandled some of them, leaving one injured and many others scampering to safety. Journalists went early to the Unity Fountain to cover the protest, but they were also not spared from the effect of the teargas.

The protesters led by Charly Boy, a popular and lone entertainer, gathered at the fountain for the second day of what was planned to be a one-week protest under the OurMumuDonDo campaign, to demand the return or resignation of the President, who has spent 90 days in London, for medical treatment.

The Policemen took over the fountain, a development that forced the protesters to relocate to the Millennium Park ground.

However, the security operatives, who were said to be acting on directives from the Federal Government to disrupt the rally because the protest on Monday went viral and embarrassed the government, went ahead to also disperse the protesters, after their relocation to the Millennium Park.

According to a witness, Charly Boy, wept profusely after he and others were teargassed by the Police, and later collapsed, as he mustered strength to explain what happened when asked by Journalists.

It took quick the intervention of other protesters who poured water on him, before he could be revived.

“When we saw Charly Boy inside the Millennium Park, he was just crying and we tried to calm him down and ask questions. He just collapsed and fainted, as one of his boys was about to explain to us”, said a Reporter with WAZOBIA FM.

“His eyes were red and his legs were injured. We had to quickly pour water on him to revive him. We were there when the police again fired another tear-gas canister. Even now, my eyes are aching.”

The wounded protester was taken to a Clinic at the Federal Secretariat complex, a few kilometres from the scene of the incident. But the extent of his injuries could not be immediately ascertained.

The participants however, braved the assault and continued with their meeting for about an hour.

The Elf on the Shelf started out as really fun idea
— a little elfin dude would visit your home for the
month of December and get in all kinds of trouble.
But he'd also "watch" your kids and report back
to Santa if they were toeing the line between
naughty and nice . After a while, that started
rubbing some parents the wrong way . Christmas
isn't just about keeping up on your best behavior

So a couple years ago, an alternative appeared on
the scene — Kindness Elves . Though the origin is
a little fuzzy (one blogger reports that variations
first appeared in 2013), the idea seemed to gain
steam after Anna, the blogger behind The
