How to get any clients you need with the 50/101 Rule

But before I start I'd like to introduce myself briefly.
My name is Victor Dominic, I am a Software Engineer by occupation and an ICT Income Strategies(I help people leverage ICT to get the desired result they seek).
You see not until now, I have been a passionate coder. when I mean passionate, I could spend 12 hours everyday looking for an alternative way to write
a block of code/expression which nobody else knows, I was that crazy towards coding but something happened....
No doubt I was a Straight "A" Student but I soon discovered that I was almost leaving school and I had not made a single penny from my vast knowledge, but
looking down to my colleagues who were not that committed in enhancing their coding skills, they eventually got contracts and they were paid right there in school.
I have always detested to work for someone right from time and I knew I was gonna end up doing exactly that if I did'nt do something urgently.
The story is pretty long but am gonna stop here. My first day seeking for a contract was the most pathetic day of my life, I Was rejected thrice and the ones that
took my proposal never called back. it was disheartening. I was like "Victor, you're a genius in coding why this" A lesson was learnt from that experience, which
is a story for next time.
PS: No matter how good you are in your craft, life has a way of letting you know that you're a nobody. But when you're consistent towards what you want, Life
gives way for you and lift you higher than you imagined. I learnt that the hard way.
Time to spill the Beans:
After lots of research and experiment I came to understand a single theory that catches the mind of any potential client or prospect,
which eventually helped me in projecting my career to an higher altitude.
That's the 50/110 rule am gonna be sharing right now read carefully.
I recently got a contract to consult for an High school in Calabar and guess what, I get paid every month by just showing up once in a week with my backpack and my Gadgets
to update their systems and optimize it. So even if I decide to be lazy today, I know I have a cash flow system already in place.
THE 50/101 Rule:
The 50/101 Rule state "for each amount you charge, offer your client a 100% money back with an extra % additional profit worth of value. It sounds crazy but it's true and it totally
works. Lets take an illustration.
Peradventure I walk into a church and I tell the pastor that his church needs a website and inform him that I'll charge him 250k for his website. Will he give it to me?
Yes he knows the usefulness of a website
but he needs the motivation to give you the 250k without flickering how?
Applying the 50/101 Rule
- I'm gonna tell him that his website will include a donation system where members/non members can contribute towards the church project and it can be sharable to social
sites where anyone can contribute to partake in the blessing Lolz... I'm gonna make sure that he understand that this will bring more funds and audience to his church, because people will want to get a the value for their money
- Lets say he has over 500 Members in his church, I'll will advice him to create a devotional where members of his church can pay yearly to have access to it
let's say the devotional is #1,500 and 300 people comply, that will be 1500 * 300 = #450,000 yearly revenue apart from tithe and offering. By now his mouth should be opened
- I'm going to tell him that his website will contain a store where he can sell his Messages both audio and video at different price and also his books. Let's say he
has service 5x a week, that means in 1 month he has 20 messages and each message goes for #1,000 and we estimate that 100 people buys his tape out of the 500 members that's =
#2,000,000 excluding his books,devotional tithes and offering.
He should have stopped you from talking by now, he will be begging you to start as soon as possible, with that enthusiasm you can put in your consultation fees to
help him maintain his site every month. And that's how you create a cash flow for yourself
This is a brief illustration on how to use the 50/101 to get the attention of any client you want, this system is not limited to only Web developers you can use it in
any area of trade provided you understand the rule.
PS: You can't just walk to anyone and say this things they will assume you a thief, there are criteria you need to follow to achieve better result.
