Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and creative Junior Copywriter to be a part of our team. You should be able to create engaging and SEO-driven copies while adhering to the brief. You should conduct thorough research before writing. Also, you should be able to assist the Marketing department in developing promotional campaigns.

As a Junior Copywriter, you should be familiar with SEO and best social media practices. You should be able to take constructive feedback and make alterations to your submissions. Your ability to handle stressful situations and manage strict deadlines will be advantageous.

To perform at this job role, you should be highly motivated and passionate about writing. Besides, having a portfolio of your published articles will give you an upper hand. In addition to this, you should be a self-learner, having the zeal to upgrade your knowledge.

Responsibilities
Creating content for blogs, websites, and print media
Conducting in-depth research before writing
Writing attractive copies for promotional and marketing purposes
Submitting well-planned structures to the Copywriter and Editor
Optimizing content to target a larger audience
Researching and implementing SEO and KW practices in the generated content
Coordinating with Graphic Designers in creating supporting graphics/illustrations
Brainstorming new content ideas
Reading and understanding the content brief clearly
Making corrections to the content as and when required
Communicating with clients to understand their content requirements


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field
0-2 years of experience as a Content Writer or a similar position in the Media industry
Portfolio of published articles
Knowledge of SEO principles and practices
Familiarity with Content Management Software like WordPress, Joomla, and Wix
Understanding of the latest social media trends and developments
Highly creative and motivated individual
Good time management and organizational skills
Excellent command over the language
Strong research and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a competitive environment
Having an eye for detail and the ability to manage deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
