Being a while I post here

You won't believe the gist I have for you today

Happy first Sunday of the month.

I hope you were able to say a little prayer to the Almighty today.

Some people don't like to pray but let's be honest prayer is very important to help us achieve our goal in this part of the world.

I'm a firm believer that God answers prayer.

Some people always cite citizens of top countries like the US, UK, Germany, and the rest that they don't pray the way we do here.

These people are right in one way. And that's because these top countries have laid down a concrete structure for even the lowest income earner to live a comfortable life.

However, it is not the same here. There is no structure here at all.

Every man has to fight for himself. So to win while fighting to be great, one must involve a higher power to encounter favor. *(Trust me, you can't do all the work by yourself)*

After church today, I decided to play with freelancing as usual and I got another gig.

It was a troubleshooting gig with this Malaysian woman.

Actually, I thought I was talking to a man until she gave me the address to her website where I saw a webinar she hosted.

She was having issues with the Facebook pixel she installed on her website.

After a brief interview, she sent me the offer.👇

$12.5/ hour for 40 hours per week.

That's about 240K/week after Upwork charges.

See, I'm not here to boast at all.

That's why I don't like posting my earnings most of the time.

What is even the meaning of discipline?

They only work when they feel like it and when they don't feel like working, they certainly play even when there are tasks to be completed.

In business, if your attention is needed, it doesn't matter if you want to go or not, you have to show up.

For example, if you wake up late and your customers are always the ones waiting for you, you will be losing tons of money because the majority of your customers won't wait for you. What you should do is to discipline yourself and start waking up early so that you don't go out of business

Another example is customer experience: if a large percentage of your customer base is complaining about a certain part of your business but because it will require some work from you, you decide to neglect it because they are still patronizing you, if care is not taken, you might be out of business before you even know it.

Another example can be finance: say you noticed your financial books are not balanced at the end of the day, month or quarter but you neglected it because you felt you are still making a big profit, I pity you. I have seen multi-million dollars business disappear into thin air because financial discipline was not enforced.

Now, how can you enforce discipline in your business

1. Avoid procrastination: Learn to do it now. When you spot an area of your business that needs attention, even when you don't feel like doing it, make sure you attend to it immediately. You can hire someone to do it for you.

2. Routine checks: It is not proper that outsiders should be the ones to tell you what needs to be corrected in your business. Ensure to carry out monthly or quarterly checks. It helps you and your business to maintain discipline.

Remember the statement from General Norm, "shined shoe, save lives." In other words, discipline saves businesses from collapse and ensures lasting profits. Or I should say disciplined businesses stand the test of time.

I can go on to list all forms of statements made by great people after they became successful but the few listed above should be enough at this point.

You will agree with me that everyone that has set out to look for money has never made enough to cater for his needs talkless of family needs or societal engagements/projects.

Maybe you don’t want to agree with me, but read on as I open your eyes to secrets you did not know.

Every morning tons of people wake up and run out of their apartments to various destinations of their choice. However, if you ask the majority of those people where they are going, they will say “Am going out today to make money” and in truth, they want to go and make money but not just any money.

These people want to make huge amounts of money to take care of themselves, families, vacations, etc.

The question is, were they able to make the amount of money they needed?

Were they able to go on the vacations, family outings they planned?

Well, I won't answer the question now.

But what I want to open your eyes to is this: “YOU DON’T MAKE MONEY BY RUNNING AFTER MONEY”!!!

The only language that money understands is “VALUE”.

Dear friend, if you do not create something of valuable importance to people, you can never make enough money in this lifetime.

That is why you see people that have mastered the art of creating value are raking in millions every day. These are people that everyone wants to be like and relate to.

Take, for instance, musicians, actors, comedians, and all sorts of entertainers, they are giving value to their fans in form of excitement which increases their fan base and makes them lots of money.

Another example is freelancers(people that make legit money by offering services online to business owners, entrepreneurs, Techpreneur, etc). These are not scammers or fraudsters. They provide value by helping business owners, Techpreneur, Entrepreneurs handle various important tasks related to their business and in turn, get paid by doing that.

This is a more robust example;

DANGOTE for instance is so rich because he is providing value(cement, sugar) to millions of people every day.

AMAZON has also become a very big company today because of millions of people from all over the world that shop on the platform.

What am saying is, to create wealth you must be able to provide your services to a large number of people.

For instance, if you sell books and your profit on one book is $100. To make a $1000 profit each month means you must be able to sell your books to at least 10 people each month. It is not rocket science.

This is a SECRET I just shared with you now. This is what great companies and great people do every month to meet their targets.

Say you now want to make $1,000, 000 from your books business every month, you will need to sell at least 10,000 pieces of the book at the same $100 profit.

Every great businessman or entrepreneur you see today has mastered the art of delivering their products to a large audience which ensures money keeps flowing in.

In this short article, I have shown you two KEY things that you can use to build wealth for yourself

Create Value i.e product or service that is meaningful to people.

Market your product to a large audience. You will notice I did not say show your product or service to a large audience. This is because you have to advertise your product to this large audience in a way that your product/services stand out as an authority that helps them with whatever reason they are buying the product or service from you.

Please note, that at the beginning of this article I outline some statements made by successful people on their way to success.

This is to let you know that if you must succeed, you will probably encounter challenges on your way.

And before these great individuals could say those words, they made sure to overcome the challenges and that is why everyone is celebrating them today.

Great people don’t just overcome challenges, they inculcate the right attitude to overcome challenges in every situation.

As William James of Harvard University said, “The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind”

And If you don’t like the situation you are in now, and you just learned that attitude is such a critical factor in success, shouldn’t you examine your attitude and see how it has been affecting your goals in life?

Professor Harold said — “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays.”

Most people are always postponing important things to tomorrow. They keep filling their lives with trivial and unimportant things.

The message here is simple, utilize today to the fullest so you don't have empty yesterday when today sets in.

One thing I have come to realize so far in life is that, if we use today effectively, tomorrow will always take care of itself.

It is not even your responsibility to carry the weight of what tomorrow will bring on your shoulder.

In the history of mankind, no man has ever prevented 'today' from ending or 'tomorrow' from setting in.

Meanwhile, if you check the history books there are millions of men and women that wished they utilized yesterday better when they had the chance

However, it is not late to build again.

When there is life, there is hope that you will achieve your life goals 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒑𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌.
