The error “AxiosError: Request failed with status code 500” in the Rev360 portal means the request you made reached the server, but the Rev360 system failed to process it due to an internal server error. That is, the problem is from the Rev360 server side, not necessarily from you.

A 500 error is an Internal Server Error. It happens when Rev360 receives your request (login, filing, upload, submission, payment, etc.) but encounters a problem in processing it.

There are two possible options you have:

first (a) refresh the page and try again after a few minutes. Sometimes, temporary server congestion resolves itself

(b) log out and log in again, especially if your session may have timed out

(c) try another browser, preferably Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, as some browsers perform better with the portal

(d) attempt the process during off-peak hours, such as early morning or late evening, when traffic on the portal is usually lighter.

(e) take a screenshot of the error message for reference and send a detailed complaint to [email protected] or call NRS at 0209 460 2700.

Second, in case the registration in the NRS portal for tax purposes is urgent, you can walk in into any Emerging Tax Office (ETO) nearest to you to process it in the tax office. Rev360 has issues here and there but the good news is that it is working.

You may have logged into the Rev360 portal account and noticed “Not Filed 1” and another scary notification “Past Due 1” staring at you.

Don’t panic, the system has not started charging penalties yet, even though it is showing “Past Due.” You still have a window to act. Go ahead and file your VAT now before it becomes late.

But if today being the last day, you are still figuring out how to file, time is no longer on your side.

Why risk a ₦100,000 penalty in the first month and an additional ₦50,000 every month after that when you can resolve it today?

📞 Call Countsystem now: +234 808 314 4379 to help you handle all your tax matters quickly and professionally.

File today. Avoid penalties. Protect your business.

April has come and gone but your tax obligations haven’t.

If you’re serious about staying compliant and avoiding unnecessary penalties, you need more than good intentions. You need a monthly tax calendar.

It keeps you alert. It keeps you prepared. Most importantly, it keeps your money from slipping away through avoidable fines.

Taxes May demands from you for April transactions:

Pay As You Earn (PAYE): File and pay on or before 10th May 2026. Your employees have done their part. Make sure you do yours.

Value Added Tax (VAT): File and pay on or before 21st May 2026.
VAT is not your money. Don’t let it sit.

Withholding Tax (WHT): File and pay on or before 21st May 2026. Delay can attract penalties and interest and they add up quickly.

Company Income Tax (CIT): Your audited financial statements must be filed within 6 months after your financial year-end. Don’t wait until the last minute. Audit delays can be costly and stressful.

A missed date may look small on the calendar but it can be expensive in reality.

Keep your tax calendar visible. Set reminders. Stay ahead. Because in taxation, discipline saves money.

The medium or Emerging Taxpayers accounts have been migrated from TaxPro Max to Rev360

The instruction is to login at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng. However, the login details have not been received by the taxpayers for the said login.

Please don’t panic, the migration only took place last week, and transitions like this often take a little time to settle properly. Let’s be optimistic that the process will soon become seamless, with smoother access and operations on the new portal.

Please remain patient as the system continues to stabilise and login details are being rolled out.

Do you own a business but can’t yet afford to hire a tax consultant? That’s not a problem. It’s just a phase, not a limitation.

However, if professional help is not within reach right now, then you must become your own first consultant. That means intentionally setting aside time to learn, understand the basics, and stay actively informed about your tax responsibilities.

In business, what you don’t know can cost you more than what you choose to invest in learning.

Every 21st of the month is more than just another date. It’s a standing reminder to every business owner to file their Value Added Tax (VAT) with the Nigeria Revenue Service.

May I ask, have you filed your VAT? If not, don’t delay, do it now.

The penalties are not just fines, they are avoidable losses. Money that should be working for your business, not draining it.

Stay compliant. Stay ahead. Don’t let something this simple cost you unnecessarily.

Please at the moment, the filing of your annual returns, the addition of Person with Significant Control (PSC), and the retrieval of your lost CAC documents are all temporarily delayed due to scheduled system maintenance by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

We know delays like this can be frustrating, and we sincerely ask for your patience and understanding.

Please be rest assured that the moment the system is back up, we will move swiftly to complete everything and deliver your requests without further delay.

Thank you for trusting us. Your support means a great deal to us, and we genuinely appreciate your patronage.

He that believes lives forever as Jesus lives.

Do you have salvation?

I mean have you confessed with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Hallelujah!!!

This is not just one of those holidays where you get to chill and take it easy.

It’s Good Friday!

Remember, Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by his wounds that you have been healed.

Have you died to sin?
