Yesterday, Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Director General of ECCIMA, Mr Uchechukwu Mba received the General Manager of Hyundai Motors Nigeria , Gaurav Vashisht and the Branch Manager of Stallion Motors Limited, Abhijit Karve at the ECCIMA House, Enugu.

The visit was specifically to express the interest of Stallion Group of companies in the Enugu International Trade Fair (36th edition), starting from April 4 to 14, 2025 at the International Trade Fair Complex, Golf Estate, GRA, Enugu.

The team were taking round the Enugu International Trade Fair Complex to see the level of preparedness of the Chamber for a successful 36th Enugu International Trade Fair.

The team however expressed satisfaction and assured that the group will be at the Fair with their ranges of products. They assured the DG, that they are coming to meet the needs of the entire South East as their cars and commercial vehicles will be available at competitive prices for all that will visit their booth at the Fair.

The President of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ECCIMA), Sir Odeiga Jideonwo, led the Nigerian delegation to the prestigious Belt and Road Seminar in China. This event which started on September 15 and ended on September 30, 2024, provided a significant platform to engage global leaders on economic collaboration, infrastructure development, and innovative trade partnerships under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The discussions focused on fostering new opportunities for Nigerian businesses, expanding trade routes, and exploring strategic investments that will drive growth across industries—especially in Enugu and the southeastern region. The aim is to strengthen the ties between Nigeria and China, creating sustainable, long-term benefits for our economy.

The President and the entire leadership of ECCIMA remain committed to advancing the interests of the Enugu business community and ensuring that ECCIMA continues to play a pivotal role in positioning Enugu as a hub for commerce, industry, and development on the global stage.
