1910/1911 Clara Zletin, a German advocate for women's rights suggested that, a day should be set aside yearly for the celebration of women around the globe and 116 years later, the vision is still on and getting better.
2026 Women's day celebration is tag, "give to gain".
Give to gain, summaries the entirety of the woman's existence.
We give out all;
Sometimes it looks like we are exploited, because some of us are not appreciated enough😤, for what we give.
Sometimes it looks like we are being used because what we give is not even reciprocated😤.
Sometimes we give all and forget ourselves, that upon pondering we fall into depression because, those we gave our all to, turn to trample on that good will😤
Sometimes you feel like it it not worth it and you just want to stop or have concluded plans to stop😤.
As a Sister that Cares, I tell you, It is ok to feel that way but as we celebrate today, Dear woman, mother, sister, wife, I want you to know that all you GAVE and is still giving is GAIN to humanity.
Note this importantly, all the purpose we pursue in life is to make a positive impact on humanity, leaving behind a good name and legacy for generations to come.
Since this be truth, what achievement will be more than you contributing to the good and sanity of humanity ?
Look at your child or cousin or that step child you gave/paused your life for some years to train/nurture, see how great they turn and count it gain.
Even if they have not given you a dime to drink water yet, I want you to know you have contributed your own quota to humanity.
Your child, nephew, nice, step children etc did not turn out to be a nuisance to humanity and this is all thanks to the various nights you kept awake to advise them, the efforts you put into teaching them the right morals of life.
The strength you use that day while flogging him or her because of a bad attitude which you knew if allowed will become a problem to the society, it yielded result and that result is the gain.
The sacrifice you made by using the money you would have used to further your education, buy your favorite car, go on vacation, eat the best meal, change your wardrobe or live the best of life but you invested that money on that person kept under your care and today you turn and look at them and you see progress, I want you to know, that progress is your GAIN.
How about the times you had to sleep in the hospital and endure the inconveniences just because that child was sick and many years later, he or she is alive, ma'am, that is your GAIN.
How about you leaving your father's house, leaving your father's name the name you have known all your life one morning you left it and took up another man's name and your life took a total turn yet you still find a way to fit in and turn your lemon to lemonade.
Yes, we see that sacrifice and today we celebrate you for the great strength.
Over the centuries, you have been the silent strength behind humanity’s progress, your contribution have been super powerful.
The blind feel it, the deaf see it, the dump demonstrate to show your great strength.
Today we celebrate not just you, but also;
