Good Day Dear Esteemed Customer
The nation bleeds, real bad. And we are all concerned. A lot of persons who didn't lose their lives or that of their loved ones are almost losing their minds because of the news and information they give their minds to.
It's very important we stay safe and sane in this challenging times. Here are a few tips that can help:
1. Limit your social media engagement
Anything goes when it comes to the internet and social media, especially the horrible ones. Lots of fake news infiltrate the online space, and even the offline space as well.
But you have the sole responsibility to choose what you give your heart, the things you read, watch, or listen to. This cuts across all media as well - TV, radio, etc
So, mind what goes into your heart and what comes out as well. If you must, share only verified truths or information. Don't spread fake news.
2. Engage yourself with positive activities
Listen to songs. Sing along and dance if you can or wish. Watch comedy or movie. Just do anything that will ease your mind, that will not put you under any undue stress.
3. Talk your fears out with a friend
In case you are so frightened that it's beginning to affect you psychologically, seek help. Talk to someone you trust that can help you feel or become better
4. Pray
Prayer helps calm your nerves. It was created for such a time like this to keep your mind in shape.
If you're of the Christian faith and you can pray in tongues, then pray in tongues.
There are other things you can do to keep your mind healthy. Feel free to use them.
Please, stay safe by all means. All these will pass away soon. We will surely have a better country to live in and be proud of.
God bless you. God bless Nigeria
