You don’t have a product problem as a creator.

You have a timing problem.

The way you were taught to launch your digital product is the process that by the time you finally hit go live on your launch, the excitement is gone like p**f, the energy is flat, and the fear has had months to get louder.

The industry told you to wait until everything was perfect. Perfect branding. Perfect audience. Perfect moment. But perfect was never coming. It was just fear with a better excuse day in day out.

The creators who launch successfully don’t wait until they feel ready. They launch, they learn, and they improve from there.

Your first launch doesn’t have to be your best launch. It just has to happen.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how we talk about building a digital product business online.

Everything sounds simple.

“Create it.”
“Post about it.”
“Sell it.”

But in real life… it doesn’t always play out like that.

There’s confusion.
There’s overthinking.
There are moments you genuinely wonder if you’re even doing the right thing.

And I’ve seen this play out in different ways with people just starting, and even with people who already have something but aren’t seeing results.

It made me realise something:

We don’t talk enough about what this journey actually looks like.

Not the polished version.
The real one.

We talk about success stories, not the real work required to create them.

This is why most people feel discouraged about growing a business even before it picks up.

Real story.

I have spent weeks tweaking the same landing page.
Rewriting the same intro module. Re-recording videos.
Changing the same product name four times.

Meanwhile, someone with half my knowledge, a Canva graphic and a Google Form was out there making sales. Because the focused on getting things done instead of perfection.

I am a big fan of get it done and keep tweaking.

Here’s the truth about digital products that took me too long to learn:

Your audience doesn’t need perfect.
They need present.

They need to see you show up, offer something real, and actually let them buy it.

The tweaking? That’s fear wearing a productivity costume.

Get it done first. Improve it after. Repeat.

That’s the whole point of making progress in your business.
