This is the FutureBenue Family.
They are created characters, but don't have names yet! They span three generations, elderly or grandparents, parents, and young people.
They also represent three main ethnic identities in Benue State, the Igede, Idoma and Tiv.
We aim to tell the story of the FutureBenue Development Plan (FBDP) through this family.
The FBDP comprises 5-Pillars, linked by a theory of change (ToC), which is grounded on security, in the broadest sense.
The ToC describes a flow from the establishment of physical safety and stability, through to social protection and security (income, health and education).
FBDP ToC:
1. Security (physical safety) >> 2. Data/IT (data protection) >> 3. Investment and Infrastructure (economic security) >> 4. Agro-Environmental (ecological preservation) >> 5. Social Protection (social security).
Watch out for the public release of the updated FutureBenue Draft Framework in November 2021.
