Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged as the winner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election held in zamfara State, polling a total of 6,500 votes.

Abubakar defeated two other contenders in a landslide victory. Muhammad Hayatuddeen came a distant second with 456 votes, while former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi finished third, securing 191 votes.
