An Open request to the Hon. Commissioner Zamfara State Ministry Of Commerce And Industries FOR SUPPORT, AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION TO COMPLEMENT THE IMPLEMENTION OF YOUR ADMINISTRATIONS POLICIES ON YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND JOB CREATION
I wish to write on-behave of the entire members of the above organization and put forward our request for support, partnership and collaboration with your administration in the areas of youth mobilization and empowerment; job creation for sustainable development, having in mind the efforts, commitment, resources and measures you already put in place.
In our quest to change the narrative and following the activities of good governance, sincerity of purpose and an ideal leadership in the state, we feel obligated to contribute our own quota using our initiatives to fill the gap we think was left to be filled in the sector and the gap is sustainability of those empowered by the government to remain in Business, relevant and Productive in today's competitive Business world.
It is our hope, that the Honorable Commissioner will look into our request and find ways and resources to invest in our initiative to move Zamfara State and it's Youthful population forward.
BELOW 👇is our proposed areas of request for support, partnership and collaboration.
AREAS FOR PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION:
The areas we wish to partner and collaborate to fill in the gap which are in line with our objectives to achieve the desired goals of our organizations initiatives in which we also believe are in line with your administrations objectives are as follows;
1. Data collection for MSME's.
2. Business development service programs.
3. Regular awareness campaigns on self reliance and job creation.
4. Regular awareness campaigns on the importance of payment of revenue.
5. Help on ways to sustain the empowerment programs and those empowered by your administration to remain in Business, productive and employers of labor in the future.
6. Proper business licensing and documentation.
7. Help in creating more MSMEs and sustaining the existing ones.
8. Expansion to 14 lga’s in the state.
9. Establishment of Zamfara entrepreneurs non-interest micro finance bank.
AREAS WE NEED SUPPORT:
1 - ESTABLISHMENT OF A MODERN ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE IN GUSAU - This will help the Clinic to work freely in helping the MSME's in formalizing their Businesses and to render any form of help/assistance on Business Development Services we offer to all our Entrepreneurs in the State.
2 - ALLOCATION OF SHOPS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT - We humbly request for the support of shop allocation and financial support for our existing members who were already trained, mentored and have existing businesses since 2018/2019 but need a market shop and financial support to expand their operations and production to create more jobs and revenue for the state.
On the financial support, we are already working to establish an MOU with Jaiz Bank Plc on a Cash-Back backing Collateral we need to support our members and any other upcoming entrepreneur in the future.
The Cash-Back Collateral is a support we need from your support programs of grant to our organizations account with Jaiz Bank, the grant will be fixed as a collateral and our members and any other new entrepreneur who register with our organization will be able to access funding.
ABOUT ZAMFARA MSME CLINIC.
The CLINIC with the acronym (MSME CLINIC) is an independent body set up in APRIL 2018 to help in Business Development Services to boost entrepreneurship, innovation and tech driven initiatives across Zamfara State.
It brings together leading development partners both in government and private sector, higher education institutions, research labs and companies to form dynamic cross-border partnerships and collaborations to develop innovative and technological products and services in the state.
INNOVATION THROUGH INTEGRATION
To boost Zamfara MSM's innovation and tech capacity, action is needed to overcome the fragmented Zamfara innovation landscape and this is where the Clinic comes in. We have a pioneering role in increasing the Zamfara state Entrepreneurs sustainable growth and competitiveness by reinforcing their innovation capacity in a dynamic global context which brings together the ‘knowledge triangle’ of business development services and tech education, mentorship programs, regular awareness campaign on self reliance and job creation to change the narrative as well as constant research to form dynamic cross-border partnerships and collaborations in the state.

As an independent body, The Clinc will enhance Zamfara Communities ability to innovate by nurturing entrepreneurial and tech talent through supporting old and existing ideas while developing new ones for sustainable development of the State.
