Real talk: I'm building my portfolio right now.

‎Which means I'm studying every small business I come across, looking for what's broken.

A little back story: ‎During my SIWES at a bakery, I watched them lose leads daily because orders came through WhatsApp, IG, and calls- and by afternoon, everything was buried.

‎No system. Just chaos.

‎Here's what I would've set up if I'd known then what I know now:

‎Google Sheet. 5 columns:
‎- Customer name
‎- Contact method
‎- What they wanted
‎- Last contact
‎- Follow-up date

‎Zero cost. 5 minutes to set up. 3 minutes daily to maintain.

‎That's the difference between "we never got back to them" and "we followed up with everyone."

‎I'm offering to set exactly this up for 3 more businesses this month (for free- portfolio building).

‎If your customer tracking is "I'll remember" or "somewhere in my DMs," let's fix that.

‎DM me or WhatsApp: +234 907 8118 828

‎Here is an unpopular opinion. Kindly read ⤵️

‎Your business isn't struggling because you're not posting enough.

‎It's struggling because when someone DOES reach out, you forget to follow up.

‎I've seen this happen:
‎- Customer inquires on Instagram Monday
‎- You respond Tuesday

‎- They say "let me think about it"
‎- You move on to the next thing

‎- They forget about you
‎- You forget about them

‎- Nobody buys anything

‎The problem isn't your content. It's your follow-up.

‎Here's what I tell every business owner I talk to:

‎If you don't have a system for tracking who inquired and when to follow up, you're leaving money on the table.

‎It doesn't need to be complicated:
‎- Note their name when they DM
‎- Set a reminder to follow up in 3 days
‎- Actually follow up

‎That one change can turn "people are interested but not buying" into "people are buying."

‎I'm setting up simple follow-up systems for businesses this month (free, building my portfolio).

‎If you've been losing potential customers to your own disorganization, let's fix it.

‎DM "FOLLOW-UP" or WhatsApp: 0907 811 8828

‎Be honest: how many leads have you lost just from forgetting to follow up?

Here's the thing about customer follow-ups:

‎Most small businesses aren't forgetting customers because they don't care. They're forgetting because they have no system.

‎I saw this during my SIWES at a bakery. Orders came through WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, phone calls. By afternoon, half the ‎morning's leads were buried in chat threads.

‎I wasn't running their operations, but I watched them lose money daily just from disorganization.

‎Here's what would've fixed it (and what I now help businesses set up):

‎Simple Google Sheet with 5 columns:
‎- Customer name
‎- How they contacted you
‎- What they wanted
‎- Last contact date
‎- Next follow-up date

‎That's it.
‎Takes 5 minutes to set up, 3 minutes daily to update.

‎No fancy CRM software. No monthly subscriptions. Just structure.

‎If your customer tracking is currently "I'll remember" or "somewhere in my DMs," let's fix that.

‎DM me or WhatsApp: 0907 811 8828

Your Content Isn't the Problem. Your Captions Are.

A client came to me three months ago. She was posting every day- carousel breakdowns, behind-the-scenes reels, quote graphics. Her engagement was decent. Likes were coming in.

But her calendar? Empty.

I looked at her captions. Every single one ended with "What do you think? Drop a comment below"

No offer. No next step. Just... vibes.

We rewrote one caption. Same post, different words. Instead of asking for thoughts, we told people exactly what to do: "If you need help with this, link in bio to book a call."

She got six DMs that week. Three turned into discovery calls. Two became paying clients.

The content was never the issue. The caption wasn't moving anyone toward action.

Here's what I actually help startup owners fix:

Captions that convert, not just engage. Every post should have a job- educate, build trust, or sell. If it's not doing one of those, it's taking up space.

A content system that doesn't drain you. You shouldn't be staring at a blank screen every morning wondering what to post. I build a simple plan that matches how you actually work.

Client systems that don't live in your head. From inquiry to onboarding to delivery, I map out what happens so you're not reinventing the process every time someone says yes.

The truth is, most startups don't need more content. They need content that actually leads somewhere. And they need systems so they're not scrambling when clients show up.

If you're posting consistently but your business isn't growing the way you thought it would, we should talk.

Send me a DM or drop a comment and let's figure out what's missing.

New to the name? I'm Dorcas ADEGBOLA (aka tabby_penner)

I help small businesses and startups fix the stuff that's keeping them stuck.

Here's the deal:
You have a great product and you're really good at what you do. But keeping up with content? Following up with leads? Not drowning in your to-do list?

That's where you're stuck.

Your content is all over the place, you're forgetting to follow up with customers, and you're spending more time managing chaos than actually growing.

What I actually do:
◾Email Marketing
• Set up automated sequences that nurture leads (so you're not manually chasing people)
• Write emails that people actually want to read (and reply to)

◾ Content Strategy
• Create content calendars you'll actually stick to (no more "what do I post today?" panic)
• Write posts, blogs, and captions that sound like you (not a robot)

◾ Business Systems
• Set up simple CRMs so you don't lose track of customers (Google Sheets works!)
• Document your processes so you're not the only one who knows how things work

◾ Business Writing
• Write proposals that win clients and close deals
• Create SOPs and documentation your team will actually use

All without the corporate jargon or overwhelming complexity.

Who I work best with:
• Nigerian startups building their first systems
• Small businesses ready to scale
• Founders who are great at their craft but drowning in operations
• Agencies needing overflow support

If this sounds like you:
👉 Your inbox is a mess
👉 Your content is all over the place
👉 You're tired of feeling behind

Let's fix it.

A question crossed my mind recently: "When Should People Start Building Structure Around Their Skills or Business?"

So many young people are doing amazing things beyond what’s expected of them- they stretch beyond their academic or primary duties and start small businesses, learning digital skills, or growing a talent they truly enjoy.

But here’s the thing: most of them don’t talk about it publicly.
They keep it private, waiting for the “right time” or a bigger break before showing what they do.

But if you think about it- how will people "know what you’re capable of" if you never start sharing?

You don't grow into visibility; you build it.

Your social media isn’t just for vibes or updates- it’s your first portfolio.

It's your first marketplace and professional stage. You don’t need to wait till you’re perfect before you start building structure around your skills or business.

Start small: document your process, post about your projects, share what you’re learning, and let people see your progress.

Because the truth is, when the global job market says they're looking for experience, they don't just mean a job title.

They mean proof of initiative, consistency, and growth- and that’s something you can start showing today.

So if you’ve been learning, selling, or creating something lately, maybe it’s time to let the world see it.

That “thing” might just be the bridge to your next opportunity.

Dear Upcoming CEO,

Building an empire will take years to finish this building's process.

But through these years, will you mature the most?

That's your process, that is where you will get tested, you will get under pressure.

In your early ages, will you dream big?

So, use your 20s and 30s to dream and build that business dream.

Your future is watching.

Your boss controls your time.
Your paycheck controls your choices.
Your job controls your future.

And now, you want to be that transcend phenomenal that want to rest on Mondays instead of running to work for someone.

Why can't you just try having a business of your own?

Doing that will help you change tactics and even earn massively.

Start a business, and suddenly you control it all.

Freedom isn't handed out. You've to build it.

And it popped up… one of the weighty things that has occurred to me lately.

Beautiful stories told by people- the kind we often listen to- are insightful and filled with life lessons.

They bring a sense of change, hunger, and the urge to either believe more in ourselves or rise up to do more for ourselves.

But what about the stories we rarely hear?

The "I never had interest in my course during undergraduate days" kind. The “I didn’t know what I was good at" kind. The "I just kept moving, unsure if I was on the right path" kind.

No one talks enough about those.

But some of us walked through school confused, studying what we didn’t choose, yet went ahead anyway.

We went through the motions, chasing grades in disciplines we didn’t understand or even like.

Yet somehow, God began to redirect our hearts. What we didn’t love at first began to make sense- not because of the course, but because we grew into it.

It wasn’t a green light moment. It wasn’t a big revelation. Just small steps… that somehow began to make sense.

So, if your story doesn’t sound like everyone else’s, don’t despise it.

Your process is still valid. And sometimes, clarity comes after the confusion.

👉 If your path didn't start with passion, it can still end in purpose.
