- At the time when I joined the incubation program, I was at a point in my business where I was confused but after going through the rigorous growth process and receiving practical knowledge on how to grow my business I gained clarity and was able to take my brand from a fashion brand to a lifestyle brand.
- From the Elevate 1M, I was ready to launch my ready-to-wear line. And after the launch, the dresses sold out.
- I learnt building a business is not for the faint of heart, you actually need resilience to build.
- I learnt you must have the ability to be resilient and must have a "bounce-back" ability. Be able to remain resilient when challenges arise and even when it looks like you're not getting results
- There's a difference between a businessman and an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is someone who is constantly innovative. That's something I really had to learn from the program.
- Your ideas would remain ideas until you implement them.
- One of the things that stands out about this incubator program is that it's free. There are people willing to sacrifice their time, data, knowledge, expertise, experience to teach and mentor you. Trust me, it is something you should pay close attention to.
- Personally, when I went through the cohort the first time, I was wondering"why is it free?"
I meannn, if it's free then that's what you definitely what you want to be a part of.
