Paystack AI experimentation.

Paystack in partnership with Google for Developers, is running an AI Builder Challenge in Lagos from October 10 to 24.

The goal is for businesses using Paystack to submit a specific, repetitive problem they deal with every day.

Then selected builders spend two weeks working directly with that business to build and test an AI solution around it.

The problems are pressing:

– A pharmacy reconciling delivery payments with orders.

– A business sorting and routing customer requests coming through WhatsApp.

– A retailer bringing orders, payments and inventory together.

The business works with the builder throughout, gives feedback and tests the solution, before the final demo.

And if it works, they keep using it after the challenge.

This move puts the business problem first, instead of the technology.

Because a lot of businesses are already experimenting with AI.

But using it for a few tasks is one thing. Building it into how the business runs is another.

Paystack chooses to build around the business's problems.

Applications closed since September 24. Builders start October 10, in Lagos.

Your idea isn't ready for funding yet. ❌

We've seen founders spend weeks building products after getting feedback from friends, only to discover the market isn't interested.

You research your idea, open your laptop, and start lock-in 🎧

But you don't know if you're building something customers actually want.

So you ask your friends and other founders:

“What do you think?”
“Would you use this?”
“Would you pay for it?”

They encourage you and tell you it's a solid idea.
