CHRIST IS THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT OF GOD. 2 Corinthians 9:15
THIS GIFT IS A REMINDER THAT
GOD IS A GIVER.

The nature of love is to give and because that is HIS nature, that is what HE does and HE does it matchlessly…
GOD is
AN UNBIASED GIVER.
HE does not discriminate in the distribution of HIS gifts.
Let’s not forget that CHRIST is not GOD’s gift to the Church but to the entire world. So GOD’s goodness is not limited to the seemingly deserving (Mat 5:45).
A LAVISH GIVER
Hannah asked for a child, GOD added five more (1 Sam 2:21).
Solomon asked for understanding, GOD added scandalous wealth and so much more (1 Kings 3:13-14).
Peter would have been okay with just a filled net but the generosity of GOD saw to it that he got more than he bargained for.
As we move into the new year, expect GOD to exceed your wildest expectations…

AN INEXHAUSTIBLE GIVER
Dear friend, your demands cannot deplete HIM and your needs cannot bankrupt heaven.
By the time all of the needs of humanity have been met, GOD Will still be OMNIPOTENT!

No limit to the number of times you can ask!
Remember, for as long as Abraham was asking in Genesis 18 about S***m and Gomorrah, GOD’s response was in the affirmative.
It wasn’t GOD who pegged the number at 10 righteous men. It was Abraham who stopped at that number.
This coming year, it’s okay to be Oliver Twist with GOD.
You can never ask for too much because HE will always be MORE THAN ENOUGH…
A FORGIVING GIVER
Because HE Is Love, HE doesn’t keep an account of wrongs.
”If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.“

Isn’t it comforting to know that HE is not a fault finder?

With GOD, you can always begin again more intelligently…!
A PURPOSEFUL GIVER
While GOD may be lavish, HE is not wasteful (John 6:12).
Everything HE does is with a purpose in mind.
CHRIST is HIS GIFT for the redemption of humanity.
THE HOLY SPIRIT is HIS GIFT for The continuation of The Work of CHRIST on earth.
The CHURCH is HIS GIFT for the growth and care of every believer.
MINISTRY GIFTS are given for the purpose of maturing and equipping believers to carry out their life mission and assignment.
As the eyes are for seeing, the legs for movement and the hands for grasp, the hair on our heads doesn't just look nice. It keeps us warm by preserving heat.
Other functions of the hair include
protection, sensory input, thermoregulation, and communication. No wonder each hair strand is known to detail by GOD.
All of this underscores the fact that nothing about what HE does or gives is an afterthought.
Just because the purpose of a blessing is veiled to you doesn’t diminish from its value. Your lack of awareness only robs you of the opportunity to be truly thankful for it and to be more judicious in your stewardship of it.
Well, the coming year holds the promise of so much more from THE GIVING GOD for you and there’s no better time to start preparing for all that’s ahead than now.
