🏠 IS YOUR SCREEDING DUSTING OFF? DON’T PAINT JUST YET! 🎨

If your wall screeding is only slightly dusty or chalking, don’t panic. You may not need to remove everything.

✅ For mild dusting:
Apply a suitable stabilizer or bonding primer to strengthen and seal the surface before painting.

⚠️ But if the screeding is cracking, peeling, or falling off:
A primer won’t solve the problem. The affected screeding needs to be properly removed first.

From there, you have two options:

🔹 Re-screed the wall for a fresh, smooth surface.
🔹 Or, if the underlying surface is suitable, apply the right primer and proceed with painting.

👉 The key is to assess the condition of the screeding before deciding what to do. The right preparation will give you a better finish and help your paint last longer.
