1.?? *BE A COMPUTER LITERATE ??:* This will also enhance your chance of getting a cool job when you graduate...remember we are in information age...that you don't have laptop is never an excuse, you can enrol for computer training...you hear ?????

2. ?? *BE A MAN OF YOUR WORD:* This will make you trustworthy and also a man of integrity. INTEGRITY COUNTS!

3. ?? *LEARN SOME SKILL SET:* Life is not always rosy as we think, especially when you graduate...even your parents may stop giving you pocket money and you don't need to blame them. Learn how to bake cake, chinchin, learn decorations, Computer programming, etc. This will help you a lot to survive both in school and when you graduate...you get me?

4. ?? *START SAVING ??:* Start saving part of your pocket money, learn to depend on yourself at times. Common stop being a spenthrift! Cut down your expenses and save! How will it sound calling your parents to send you money to buy underwears? Lol...I am not laughing oh ????.

6. ?? *LEARN HOW TO DRIVE :* Believe me, it worth it, it gotta be captivating...I Can relate wella oh. Trust me, one day it will put food on your table, somehow..

For Ladies: You better learn how to cook good food ooo. Yes, you must learn it. It is a necessity. If u fail to do so...you're on your own. I'm sure you know what i mean.

7. ?? *LEARN HOW TO APPROACH PEOPLE YOU ADMIRE A LOT:* Come on, stop being shy, why shall you shy? Lol...Make a bold walk to them and exchange pleasantries, initiate friendship...You never can tell if you gonna b meeting ???? your potential wiffy or husby ?? at campus, I've seen it happen...but, pls don't misquote me oo, apply wisdom and manners! Ahdan tell you oo

8. ?? *BUILD NETWORK OF GREAT FRIENDS????:* Stop taking people for granted, at least be social and friendly! Your destiny helpers may likely be the people you meet at campus...you grab?

9. ?? *DEVELOP YOUR TALENT???????:* Even the Bible says that the gift of a man makes a way for him, never neglect your gift. If you can write, keep writing, if you can sing, keep singing. If you have leadership potential,contesting for SUG Position will be a nice idea.

10. ?? *THE POWER OF CHOICE:* The choice you make in your university days may affect your whole life. Guys, stop chasing ladies up and down, try chasing your dream. Ladies; it is good to look classy but also make your brain classy, it worth it. Young lady, get yourself packaged and get sense too; don't depend on any guy for finance...your future isn't tied on them.

Go for lectures, do your assignments, prepare and write your exam.

Think O-I-L: Opportunity, Impact, Legacy

Memorize and Meditate
“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12–14, NKJV)

Soak your Heart
We must constantly remind ourselves that we are in the process of dying to self so we can live for the Christ who died for us. As outlined in today’s verse, Christ has taken possession of us so we will not waste our time, talent, and treasure on perishable things and secular goals.

In order to reach ahead, we have to let the past go. We can’t redo those days. Our goal is to be conformed to Christ and his will.

Sow to the Spirit
In your prayer life, think of the acronym, “O-I-L.” The letters stand for Opportunity, Impact, and Legacy. As you pray today’s verse, sow these words to the Lord.

Each day is a new opportunity to be a part of doing something for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Think of the impact of what you are doing. If it is done in the power of the Spirit, it will have an impact in this world and in eternity.

Think legacy. You will leave a legacy, one that has both earthly meaning and eternal meaning.

Flow with the Spirit
As you move with the Spirit, be sensitive to opportunities he may be placing in your path. If you are a cleansed vessel of honor, fit for use by the Master, then you can be prepared for every good work he has for you.


Practice
Practice the soak, sow, and flow principle outlined above. Be prepared for whatever opportunity God has for you today, and in the days ahead. Take advantage of them. Not only has Christ saved us, but he offers to reward those who live for him. That is what I call a huge incentive!

BE PREPARED TO CHANGE YOUR CAREER.
__Always invest in the "tools of your trade."

Shortly after I completed my engineering degree I had to go to work in a manufacturing facility to get "practical experience" as they called it. The technicians, many who’d been there for many years, had certain routines from which I picked up some real "life experiences and practices."

It's always amazing what important principles you can take away, even if you go on to do something completely different in life.

# Have pride in your tools.

Every technician had a "toolbox" which they looked after lovingly. It was almost like a "rite of passage." At the end of each day, they’d boast to each other about the tools they’d managed to acquire, and what they were used for. They would clean their tools after the day was over.

Buying and investing in good quality tools was considered a technician’s personal responsibility, not the employer’s.

"I feed my children with them tools, don’ I?" one of them once explained in his colloquial English.

Fast forward:

I would always lose my plastic pen. Then someone said, "You would not lose it, if you invested in a proper pen."

"Wow," I thought. "This is just like those old English technicians and their tools."

That day, I went out and bought myself a nice set of pens. I immediately stopped losing pens!

Question: What are the "tools of your trade"?

Do you have your own computer? Everyone who runs a modern business, or works in a profession, should have a laptop.

A computer is not even a "tool"; it's the "toolbox" in which most all the modern technological tools are kept.

Are you on the Internet? Do you have it in both your business and your home?

# If not, you better sell your car, if you have one, and walk, but you must have a computer and be on the Internet

# If you have a house, it would be far smarter in today's world to have a smaller house with Internet, than a bigger house with no Internet.

# It would be far, far smarter to have a smaller car, or none at all, and be able to afford a computer and Internet for your business and family, than to have a luxury car or the like.

# Those who understand what I'm saying here are better positioned to make the career changes needed as a result of disruptive changes to the workplace, and the jobs we do.

Whatever work you do, or plan to do in the future, you have to upgrade your "toolbox" for the changing times ahead. I want you to be prepared. Remember,its all about your mindset? And about imagining the horizon beyond today's horizon?

As we have earlier seen “mobile revolution” has already given way to the “Internet revolution.” If the Internet were an ocean, then what you’re seeing today is just the shoreline. The Internet will even transform our villages. In the future, the village store and grinding mill will use the Internet, even to order and manage inventories. Even the village school will be changed by the Internet.

You will see it happen. Somewhere, somebody is already working to find a solution. Just five years ago, if I had said to you, “Villagers in the remotest parts of Africa will be able to receive money from anywhere in the world within five minutes or even less,” what would you have said?
