URGENT PHARMA VACANCIES
Our client is a Nigerian privately owned company in pharma/healthcare business for 25 years. It has partners in Europe, US, Asia and Africa, some of which own international brands. In the Nigeria Pharmaceutical sector, it has over 30 brands/SKUs and plays in the antibiotics, analgesic, nutrition, ophthalmic and dental segments as well as being a reputable importer of medical, surgical and ophthalmic consumables, devices and equipment.
As part of her plan and process to re-invent and re-position itself to take significantly higher market share in all segment where it leads, it requires seasoned sales and marketing personnel for her key SBUs and business support units:
1. BIOMEDICAL SALES AND SERVICE ENGINEER - Lagos
This is essentially a sales representation position but focused on medical/optical/dental equipment and consumables. Candidates will be responsible for prospecting, sales, territory development/management, equipment servicing and relationship marketing, awareness creation/demand generation and timely collection.
Requirements:
• B Sc/HND/OND Biomedical Engineering/Technology, Electrical/Electronics
• 0-2 years’ sales experience with at least 2 yr in medical equipment/ consumables sales
• Track record of performance and excellent knowledge of the territory
• Problem-solver, result-oriented and intra-preneural, self-directed and self-motivated self-starter with definite ability to work without insignificant supervision
Compensation: Up to 350K depending on experience, qualification and performance record
2. CREDIT AND INTERNAL CONTROL ACCOUNTANT - Lagos
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for monitoring and driving timely collection of debts and receivables as well as compliance with internal business and accounting controls of the company. The incumbent will also be responsible for keeping and tracking all assets of the company, including stock, money and receivables in addition to managing payables.
Qualifications:
• BSc/HND in accounting or equivalent
• 2-3 experience in a trading environment. Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous.
• Ability to use & MS office tools is mandatory with above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with an accounting package, especially QuickBooks
• Excellent interpersonal skills and
• High Integrity Index.
• Willing to travel and meet customers to drive collection
Compensation: Up to 250K depending on experience, qualification and performance record
3. HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
The incumbent shall oversee the human capital issues, administration and operations. He/She will guide and manage the overall provision of human resources services, policies, and programs for the company. Key accountabilities are administration, recruiting/staffing, performance management, compliance, policy development and documentation, compensation administration
Requirements:
• B Sc in Management or Administration; professional qualifications or MBA (Human Resources) is an advantage
• 6-8 years cognate experience with minimum of 2 as head of HR function
• Leader and manager, self-starter capable of working with little or no supervision
Compensation: Up to 350K depending on experience, qualification and performance record
4. WAREHOUSE MANAGER
The major responsibility is to effectively manage and direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations as well as to initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. The incumbent will ensure warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly and oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of company products to various locations in Nigeria
Requirements
• A degree in logistics, supply chain management or accountancy
• 2-4 experience as a Warehouse Manager in a sales and distribution environment
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases/enterprise software and Microsoft Office skills is required
• Good understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices
• High Integrity Index
• Excellent communication skills
Compensation: Up to 300K depending on experience, qualification and performance record
