Job Role: Rigger

Location: Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

Summary:
This job holder will be reporting to the Pop head while: Acting as installer on all approved links installation for new projects.
· Professional Rigging with good and protected link installation.
· Ensure that site surveys are conducted accurately to aid quality installation
· Ensure that all escalated faulty calls are fixed within target SLA for resolution.
· Ensure clients fault calls are attended to within SLA time frame.
· Ensure quality functionality of all installed links at client’s site before hand over.

Responsibilities:
· Reduce/eliminate repeat call on all worked on installation.
· Installation to avoid damage and downtime.
· Ensure safety in rigging activities and equipment protection during installation.
· Assist in carrying out quarterly routine maintenance at the PoP.
· Ensures proper documentation of all installed links, resolved faults for documentation and reference purpose.
· Ensure job completion forms are properly signed off with clients before leaving clients site.
· Assist in the purchase of spares and accessories for installation from local supplier.
· Work with POP Head and Rigger-Tech harmoniously to achieve organizational goals and objective.
· Ensure riggers' safety standards are maintained to effectively carryout any new installation and resolution of faults when the need arises.

Relevant Experience: 2 years Rigging experience in a Telecommunication industry Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure. High sense of professionalism Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skill

Qualifications:
Minium of OND or ND is required.

Dear or

Aside the fact that 99% of all jobs could be taught, do not look for 100% right answers in interview, you won't have them.

Even you the interviewer did not know 80% of the things you know today when you started. Give people opportunity to learn and grow on the too.

Interview is not cheap, and you know.

It might look cheap if you are at the giving end, but when the table turns and you happen to be at the receiving end, you'll realize that is not cheap.

A little distraction could cause one to panic. Once panic or fear sets in, even the most experience candidate would misbehave and at times gibbers.

Beside, people are not the same.

Some experience candidates do not really know how to talk much during interviews. Some candidates are very good in planning and ex*****on.

Some people may be very good both with words and with executing their work.

If you judge a fish with it's ability to climb a tree, you miss it. But definitely, there is a genius in everyone.

It is very painful when a good, experience, committed and passionate people miss a job so qualify and love so much.

If you see 60 to 70% of what you want in a candidate for experience role, please give them opportunity, they'll learn the rest.

Remember, the table can turn at anytime. Be human.

He said, "I am very much willing to patronize your services but first I would like to understand what your company name means. What is WECON® and how did you get that?"

We have had this question time and over, so he isn't the first person to ask hence, our decision to share it here.

Our name is an abridge of two different words - WE and CONQUER, which together forms "We Conquer.

WE CONQUER literally stands for teamwork and unity in diversity.

It reminds us the fact that in our diversity, unique strengths and potentials, we are still equal and the same.

Honestly, we are going places at Wecon Consulting Ltd. The vision is huge and its taking us beyond our comfort zones to places.

Helping you build trans-generational business is huge, but like the journey of a thousand miles, we are taking baby steps one day per time.

We were at the Electrical Electronic Engineering department of one of the foremost universities in the South-Western part of Nigeria to strike a partnership deal for one of our clients - an Electricity distribution company.

The school will channel outstanding students of the department for internship and SIWES program at the company for practical and field experience, while the company retains those students who performed smashingly outstanding during their internship.

This partnership will help three categories of people and entity - the students, the school and the company.

The students will be exposed to the practical and field experience of the theories they were taught in school.

The partnership will help the University boost the performance of her products (students) in the labour market and improve the school's brand image, while helping the company build her talent pipeline for entry level roles.

This is one way we are helping to solve people, society and organizational challenges.
