Nigeria's Tax System Has Changed: What You Should Know

The Nigeria Tax Act 2025 is now in effect (since 1 January 2026). This is a significant legislative reform that affects how companies interpret and comply with tax obligations.

→ New tax administration framework and procedures
→ Digital filing now standard (Rev360 system)
→ Capital gains and digital asset transactions are now explicitly taxable
→ Institutional restructuring (NRS replacing FIRS)
