IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR UK STUDENT & GRADUATE VISAS.

If you’re planning to study or stay in the UK, make sure you know about these upcoming changes.

📅 From 11th NOVEMBER 2025
Students applying for a UK Student Visa will need to show higher maintenance funds to cover living costs. This means you’ll need to prove you have more money available to support yourself while studying.

Check the updated financial requirements before you apply to avoid any delays or issues.

📆 From 1st JANUARY 2027
The Graduate Route visa which allows international students to stay in the UK after finishing their studies will be reduced from 2 years to 18 months for new applicants.

If you plan to apply for the Graduate Route after this date, make sure to factor this into your post-study plans.

🎓 Good news for PhD and Doctoral Graduates!
If you’re completing a PhD or another doctoral qualification, this change won’t affect you. You’ll still receive 3 years of stay under the Graduate Route after graduation.

So, plan ahead, stay informed, and make the most of your time studying and working in the UK!
