WE ARE HIRING
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Eye Hospital Ikeja, Lagos | Full-Time | On-Site

Are you the executive who turns vision into operation? We are looking for you.
A leading ophthalmology hospital in Lagos is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to take the helm of its non-clinical operations – and help drive the organisation to its next level of impact, growth, and excellence in patient care.
This is not a role for a manager. This is a role for a leader – someone who sees a complex, people-intensive healthcare environment and knows exactly how to make it run better, grow faster, and serve more patients.

What You Will Do
● Lead and coordinate all non-clinical operations across the hospital.
● Drive revenue growth and manage controllable expenditure.
● Ensure smooth patient flow and a superior patient experience at every touchpoint.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase new, referral, and follow-up patients.
● Lead the workforce – conducting regular staff meetings, managing training, and keeping attrition in check.
● Spearhead strategic expansion – new vision centres, surgical centres, and optical shops.
● Prepare monthly working capital reports and manage daily account verification.
● Act as the CEO's most trusted operational partner – escalating and resolving exceptions with speed and sound judgement.

What You Bring
● A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a COO or senior operations leader – preferably in a healthcare setting.
● Strong financial acumen – you understand P&L, budgets, and cost optimisation.
● Exceptional people leadership – you build trust, drive accountability, and develop teams.
● Strategic thinking paired with hands-on ex*****on – you are as comfortable in the boardroom as on the floor.
● Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and healthcare technology.
● Knowledge of Nigerian healthcare regulatory environment is an advantage.

Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to lead operations at one of Lagos's established eye hospitals – with full executive mandate, direct CEO partnership, and the scope to shape both the day-to-day and the long-term future of the organisation. If operational excellence and strategic impact matter to you, this is your seat.

Identifying the Toxic Employee

As organizations prepare for 2026, one truth must be confronted with honesty and courage: not every challenge is external - some are internal.
A toxic employee is not always incompetent; sometimes they are skilled but destructive. They may deliver results, yet drain morale. They may speak confidently, yet undermine trust. Over time, their influence weakens teamwork, discourages excellence, and normalizes negativity.

For employers, identifying toxic behaviour is not an act of hostility - it is an act of leadership.
For employees, it is an invitation to self-reflection.
In 2026, organizations must ask: Are we rewarding output alone, or are we valuing character, collaboration, and accountability?

Correction, coaching, and clear boundaries are essential. But when toxicity persists despite intervention, decisive action becomes necessary - not to punish, but to protect the collective good.
Healthy people create healthy teams. Healthy teams build empowered organizations.

Building People, Empowering Organizations.

Good Morning Friends, welcome to another day in the life of the world.
Before you start declaring that 2026 will be your year of harvest, pause and ask yourself an honest question: What exactly am I planting?
At Dowealth Training & Consulting, we believe that harvest is not a declaration - it is a consequence. Results do not appear because the calendar changes; they appear because people change, systems improve, and intentional planning is done ahead of time.

Harvest Follows Preparation
Every meaningful outcome is traceable to a deliberate process. No organisation grows by hope, and no professional rises by assumption. What you call “harvest” in 2026 must first be planned, nurtured, and worked for - starting now.

Vision without structure leads to frustration.
Expectation without preparation leads to disappointment.

Building People First
Organizations don’t grow - people do.
And when people grow in:

competence,

character,

clarity, and

capacity,

The organisation naturally expands in performance and impact.
That is why Dowealth focuses on developing minds before chasing outcomes. Skilled, disciplined, and accountable people create results that are sustainable.

Empowering Organizations through Structure
An empowered organization is one with:

clear goals,

defined processes,

accountable teams, and

continuous learning.

When structure is weak, effort is wasted. When systems are strong, performance becomes predictable.
2026 will not reward noise; it will reward prepared organizations and intentional professionals.
_Planning Is the Seed of Harvest_
If 2026 must be a year of harvest, then now must be a season of:

learning,

planning,

capacity building, and

strategic alignment.

Don’t announce results you have not prepared for.
Don’t expect growth you have not planned toward.
