Back in the day, Domino's had a small-size pizza for ₦550, and if you added ₦50, you'd get a drink. That's ₦600.

I ordered this small size, and when it was ready, I went to pick it up. Two ladies were also waiting to collect their pizza.

I collected my package, and one of the ladies asked me, "This pizza is too small. Don't you have money for a bigger one? See the size of our own na".

I told her I was the only one eating and the small size was okay, but she wasn't done yet.

"But the big one would've made sense shaa. See our own. You came to buy this small thing."

I smiled and walked away.

I never cared to see the size they bought. It was not my business. These were total strangers, and I had nothing to do with them.

Sometimes, we are pushed or talked into competing with people who don't know we exist. People get angry or sad when strangers post pictures of their success on social media. Total strangers!

Then you go on to buy things you don't need to show you can measure up.

You don't know what people do to get ahead or succeed where you probably failed. It is not given to you to hate them. Don't allow yourself to be talked into taking destructive actions.

If you mind your business just enough and buy the small-sized pizza you can finish, you'll be less bothered by what others are doing.

Focus on yourself.....
