The first time I saw you.
I saw God in you.
You were wearing a beautiful smile on your face.
In a large crowd of people, you stood out

I saw the love that is indefinite.
The first time I saw you
I... I fell in love with you.
I wanted to love you like I will never see you again.
I wanted to love you like a sunflower loving the sun
Every time you not around, I will frown.
I wanted to love you like the water in the river
Every time you not around, the life in me will die.
I wanted to love you, but... I had nothing.
You saw me
And you appreciated me.
You saw me.
And you didn't judge me.
I thought loving someone means giving them money
I thought it meant taking them out to a fancy restaurant
I would do my all to impress you with material things.
But you are not that type.
You hated me more when I was acting.
You loved me for who I am and what I have.
All the thoughts I had about loving someone,
I was wrong.
We had nothing and yet you had my back.
My "stupid dreams" you believed them more than I did.
My "silly goals" you supported them more than I did.
There were times we had nothing to eat.
We would laugh about it.
There were times I thought I would lose you to guys with money and cars.
But you loved to walk and you never complained about the distance.
You are the most beautiful lady ever
I know your friends told you that you deserve someone with good looks.
I know they told you that you deserve someone who will buy you everything you want.
I know because I heard them.
I know I never said anything about that.
It's been three years and I am still waiting for you to tell me that it's over because you found someone with good looks and all they said you deserve.
We had difficult times at school.
We had difficult times at home.
Through all, we were never alone, we were there for each other.
Love is painful

If I ever break your heart, I will break mine too

I wanna lay down and listen to the sound of the rain with soft music at the background with your head on my chest.

I want to kiss your forehead and tell you that I love you forever.

I want to spend these lonely nights with you.

I want to wake up next to you. With you still in my arms.

I get jealous because I don't want to lose you

And I chose you to hurt me.
Love is beautiful
We had nothing but we had each other's back.
I want that special kind of love.
I want to miss you when you are not by my side.
I feel empty around other people because only you can fill me.
I miss those nights.
Our phones off and we would listen to each other's heartbeat.
You would kiss me like a rainfall
My emotions would flood to the shores.
The morning I would wake up and the first thing I would see is your face.
Your hair on my face. Lol.
Your feet on top of my torso.
Years later.
We still argue about who doesn't know how to sleep.
Years later
We still argue about who should fix the bed.
Years later
We still argue about who should make breakfast.
There was a time my breakfast was water.
You would sacrifice your last cents to get me a decent meal.
When you slept in my room.
You would wake me up so that I can study.
The morning after.
You would wake up and do your schoolwork.
I would wake up and write poems about how much she means to me.
I would write poems about depression even when I am happy.
I would write about r**e because I think more about the world outside this room and I think women deserve justice.
When we were both busy we enjoyed each other's silence.
I would look at her eyes as she's focused on her books.
(Deep sigh).
Loving you is the perfect example of what love looks like.

I don't know what love is
But whatever it is I am glad I get to wake up next to you.
I am glad we are not just lovers but also friends
I am glad you held my hands and we crossed the rivers and we walked through the storms.
We never gave up on each other.
We would fight and I would still find you in my arms.
I don't know how many years I am left with
But I think we still got time
Our love is never late for anything.
I think now it's time.
"My love, can you make me the happiest man alive by marrying me, will you marry me?"
