POWER TO JAKANDE ESTATE.
The administration of a dynamic council like Ejigbo LCDA demands attention recently.
A Council that consist of ethnic diversities, growing population and economic activities.
The Council cannot thrive under a structure of tribalism and sentiments, Growth and development will be skewed and unevenly distributed if this is allowed
Let me take you back to history Hon Bamgbetan did and did well, he is not an assumed indigene, he devolve power to an indigenous candidate in person of the incumbent Oloyede Bello. The incumbent is leaving and he will leave a clean slate.
Now we are moving forward to write on the clean slate to reclaim our rights and privileges as the Capital of the Local Council. No dulling, we must take the mantle.
Take it or leave it, Jakande Estate is the Capital of the Council, what we lack in retaining power is Unity and Candidacy Presentation.
Unity is not same as band wagon, we can't keep following failures in the name of Unity, we can not keep following incompetent people in the name of Unity.
Unity as defined by our political ideology and vision is moving forward in one accord under a Credible Leader"
In terms of Land mass. Population size, demographics and quality of voters and aspirations, Jakande Estate will outlive and outshine any other wards within the Council.
It is important hence that we do not relinquish the fight, allowed to be ruled, allowed to be dictated upon and ultimately allow the Chairman -ship turn to be missed.
The largest takes the biggest and the biggest have the power! We have conceded power and rotation to others far too long, neglecting our own and settling for less.
It is time Jakande Estate takes the mantle and present a Credible Candidate, present a credible and *UNITED FRONT* that will upset the margin of power, we have supported others and we are asking for support now.
Jii ma sūn éyin ómó JK City!
It is your turn to shine.
