WHEN GOD HAS SPOKEN, WE DON'T FOLD OUR HANDS. WE RISE AND CONTEND!

There is a dimension of prayer we must recover.

RISE ye up, TAKE your journey, and PASS OVER the river Arnon: behold, I HAVE GIVEN into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: BEGIN TO POSSESS IT, and CONTEND with him in battle. Deut 2:24

A lot of prophecies have had their manifestations delayed, not because God did not speak, and not because the word was false, but because we received the prophetic declaration and then waited for it to happen automatically.

We heard the prophecy.

We believed the prophecy.

We celebrated the prophecy.

But we did not necessarily contend for the manifestation of the prophecy.

The prose of God is not a call to laziness.

It is not a call to fold our hands.

The promise of God is a call to rise.

It is a call to engage God in prayer, travail and spiritual warfare until what God has spoken finds expression.

THE BREAKTHROUGH 3x30 REVELATION

There Is a Wisdom for the Palace

Proverbs 8:15 - 16
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

Not every place can be entered with the same level of wisdom.

* There is a wisdom for the marketplace.

* There is a wisdom for the family.
* There is a wisdom for ministry.

* And there is a wisdom for the palace.

The palace represents places of influence, authority, access and significant opportunity.

God may open the door, but you need wisdom to know how to walk through it.

Joseph had the interpretation of Pharaoh's dream, but that alone was not enough.

* He also had to know how to present the solution.

* He had to speak with confidence.

* He had to understand administration.

* He had to propose a strategy.

* He had to demonstrate that he could be trusted with enormous responsibility.

Pharaoh was not merely looking for someone who could interpret a dream.

He needed someone who could function in the palace.

Daniel was also different.

He was not merely a man who prayed.

* He possessed “an excellent spirit” and exceptional wisdom.

Esther was beautiful, but beauty alone did not fulfil her assignment.

* She had to understand timing, relationships, protocol and the right moment to approach the king.

This is why spiritual people must not despise wisdom for functioning in the natural world.

Anointing is not a substitute for wisdom.

Prayer is not a substitute for preparation.

Favour is not a substitute for competence.

And spiritual authority is not permission to behave foolishly.

Some doors God will open by favour.

But what happens after you enter may depend on whether you have developed the wisdom required for that environment.

A person may pray his way into a room and then talk himself out of it.

He may receive access and lose it through poor conduct.

He may meet a king and destroy the relationship through unnecessary familiarity.

He may receive an opportunity but fail because he was not prepared for the responsibility attached to it.

There is a wisdom for the palace.

That wisdom teaches you:

* When to speak.

* When to listen.

* When to stand.

* When to wait.

* When to negotiate.

* When to withdraw.

* When to accept an opportunity.

* And when to say no.

It teaches you:

* How to honour people without worshipping them.

* How to relate with influential people without becoming intimidated.

* How to receive from people who do not share your faith without compromising yours.

* And how to enter a palace without allowing the palace to enter your heart.

Hear this:

Before you ask God for another door, ask Him for the wisdom to function in the doors He has already opened.

I Prophesy Over You Today

* God is releasing wisdom for your next level.
* On your day of enthronement, wisdom will not be far from you

WHAT IS THE PALACE?

Isaiah 60:3
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

There are places God wants to take you that your present environment cannot explain.

There are rooms you will enter that your family background did not prepare you for.

There are conversations you will have with people whose influence is far greater than yours.

There are opportunities that will require a different level of wisdom, character, competence and discernment.

That is what I call The Palace.

The palace is not merely a physical building where a king lives.

It represents places of influence, authority, access, opportunity and divine assignment.

For Joseph, it was Pharaoh's palace.

For Daniel, it was the courts of Babylon.

For Esther, it was the Persian royal court.

For David, it was the king's court before he eventually became king himself.

And for many of us, the "Palace" may be a government office, a corporate boardroom, a university, a professional environment, a ministry platform, a business relationship, or a relationship with someone of significant influence.

But here is something we must understand:

God does not bring you into the palace merely because He wants you to enjoy the palace.

Sometimes He brings you there because there is an ASSIGNMENT waiting for you there.

Joseph entered Pharaoh's palace and became the administrator through whom an entire nation survived famine.

Esther entered the palace and discovered that her access was connected to the preservation of God's people.

Daniel stood before kings because God had given him wisdom that nations needed.

So when God begins bringing you before influential people, don't only ask:

"What can I get from this relationship?"

Ask:

"Why has God brought me here?"

There is also another important truth.

The people God uses to bring you into the palace may not necessarily know your God.

Joseph was brought before Pharaoh by people who did not share his covenant.

Daniel served pagan kings.

Esther lived in a Persian palace.

God remains sovereign over people, systems and institutions.

The fact that someone does not believe what you believe does not mean God cannot use that person to fulfil His purpose concerning you.

Your responsibility is not to convert everybody before you can relate with them.

Your responsibility is to represent God faithfully wherever He places you.

You must learn how to enter different environments without losing your identity.

You must learn how to relate with influential people without worshipping their influence.

You must learn how to receive opportunities without compromising your convictions.

You must learn the language of the environment without losing the language of your faith.

Because there is a wisdom required for the palace.

And that wisdom is what we will be exploring together in this season.

Your responsibility is to:

- Grow in wisdom.
- Develop your competence.
- Improve your character.
- Learn to communicate.
- Learn to listen.
- Learn to honour.
- And above all, remain faithful to God.

I Prophesy Over You Today

* Doors of divine access shall open before you.
* God will give you wisdom to function among kings and influential people.
* You shall not merely enter the palace, you shall fulfil God's purpose there.

In Jesus' name.
