Please read this very well.

In fact, read it slowly and make sure you understand what

I am about to say because it will SAVE your school.

If your school is still running in 2026 without government approval —--

you are putting all you have worked and labour for in life at a serious danger.

Read the above state one more time — Have you done that ?

Okay, let's continue.

Let me remind you of something I know that you know …..

✔️ One visit from the ministry of education can cause you serious problems.

✔️ One complaint from a parent to the quality assurance

unit of the ministry of education can start the Wahala

✔️ One school owner in your area who does not like the fact that you are

operating a school close to them can put sand-sand for your tea or Garri

And the next thing you will see is that your school is shut down by the government.

Now, let me talk to you as a friend will talk to a friend that he loves.

I know many school owners are running their schools

with hide and seek (luck) and not government approval.

Children are coming — Parents are paying school fees and teachers are teaching.

So you think all is well even without getting approval from the government.

But the truth is …..

IF THE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT APPROVED YOUR SCHOOL, YOU ARE NOT SAFE.

Let me explain with a simple story.

Two women opened schools in the same year —-- Both loved children —- Both worked hard.

But they made different choices.

Let's call the first woman Mama Ayo —- And call the 2nd woman, Mama Zainab.

Both of them started their school without registering with the government.

First year ….. Their schools looked the same.

They both have pupils.

They both have teachers.

They both have beautiful school uniforms.

They both said —-- “School is school.”

But after operating for one year, Mama Zainab went to the ministry of education to

register her with the government and get a provisional

approval as a school recognized by the government.

Mama Ayo carried on to run her school without government approval.

3 years later, things changed and what happened is better imagined than becoming a reality.

Let me explain why.

That you have not registered your school means:

❌ The government does not know your school officially.

❌ If ministry of education should visit your area and discover you have

being running your school for 1, 2, 3 years without approval,

they can lock your gate and ask you to stop operating as a school.

❌ If a parent report your school to the quality assurance

unit of the ministry of education —- nobody will support you.

❌ If officials from your state ministry of education come, they may not listen to

your explanation before they pronounce that your school be closed down immediately.

And when your school is closed by the government even for one day or one week,

Some parents will not waste time before taking their children to another school.

Even if you later settle with the ministry, the news that your

school was closed down by the government would

have spread to many parents in your area and beyond.

So, why put the school you are struggling to grow in such a dangerous situation

WHEN YOUR SCHOOL IS REGISTERED, it simply means;

✔️ Government knows your school and allows it to run it officially.

✔️ You have permission to teach children.

✔️ Your school is legal and recognized by the law of your state and Nigeria.

✔️ You and your school are protected.

✔️ You can talk if a problem comes up.

✔️ Government cannot just close your school anyhow, even if someone reported you.

✔️ Parents trust your school more.

✔️ You can advertise your school without fear.

✔️ You can grow from nursery to primary to secondary.

And many other benefits that you cannot even imagine.

And this is why Mama Zainab’s school grew.

Yes, —- She started small, but she did the right thing to avoid government Wahala.

Let me tell you the truth, even if it pains you.

Running your school without registration in 2026 is not wisdom —- IT IS DANGEROUS.

And the danger there is that in 2026 the government will be more serious with

getting money (in form of taxes) from private businesses

and private schools are one such business. So, be ready.

The government will be checking schools more than before.

If you truly love your school and you care about your pupils or students.

If you want your school to continue for many years …. REGISTER YOUR SCHOOL.

Yes, it costs money —- Yes, it takes effort — But if the government

closes your school, you will lose more money and you can lose the whole school.

I know it's possible you are thinking …. Afterall,

I have been running without registration and nothing happened.

I want you to know that unregistered school can feed you today, but

A registered school is the one that is capable of feeding you today and tomorrow.

If your school has pupils or students, you have teachers and uniform —

Then, your school is BIG enough to be registered.

In 2026, don’t wait until the government teaches you a painful lesson.

Do the right thing in 2026.

Thank you and I love you.

Few days ago, I was invited to teach a small group of school owners and it was amazing training.

At the end of the training, there was no much time for questions and answers

so, I gave them my WhatsApp number so that anyone who has questions can ask me through voice call or WhatsApp chat.

Then on the second day after the training, one of the school owner (who attended the training) --- Let's call her Mrs. Kemi.

She sent a WhatsApp voice note, almost crying.
She said … “Mr. Toba, I don’t understand what’s happening ……. Students are leaving.
Many parents suddenly withdrew their children. .. My staff turned against me.
I know some people are using spiritual power (juju) against me.”
I smiled quietly ... Because I have heard that statement many times from school owners and
administrators who are fighting invisible battles with the wrong weapons.
Today, let me talk to you from my heart (not as a school development advocate),
but as a brother who understands both the spiritual and strategic side of business that
If they are using something against you …. Make sure you also use something to protect yourself and your school.
I know you don't fully understand what I am saying. So, let me tell you the story of Mama Chioma.
Mama Chioma runs a private school in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Every morning, she prays — sincerely.
She anoints her school gate and compound.
She prays over the register and the textbooks.
She prays for excellence spirit for her teachers and staff in general.
She even prays for her pupils’ academic performance and learning process.
But every term, something strange happens: New schools open nearby, and her pupils start reducing.
She begins to suspect other school owners ….. “Maybe they’re using charm against me,” she says.
One day, she decided to talk to me and even invited me to visit her school.
When I got there, I asked a simple question:
“Mama Chioma, what is your marketing and financial system like?”
She said, “ Marketing and Finance ke? I’m fighting spiritual battles, not marketing and financial battles.”
I smiled and replied; ..
But if you don’t have a system for marketing and finance, even angels will get tired of helping you.
Listen carefully: Sometimes it’s not juju — it's a disorder.
Sometimes it’s not village people — it’s vision problems.
And sometimes, it’s not that they are using “something” against you,
it’s that you are not using your own SPIRITUAL and MENTAL advantage fully.
Because; you see, in this world, you cannot be ordinary and expect extraordinary results.
You must go SPIRITUAL and STRATEGIC at the same time.
Let me explain with wisdom:
In business — including your school — there are 3 Realms of Operation:
(1).. The Physical Realm (Effort). This is where you plan, advertise, teach, collect fees, and run your daily operations.
(2).. The Mental Realm (Strategy). This is where you create systems, set goals,
and think like a Chief Executive Officer … Not just a teacher.
Where you use digital tools to monitor your school fee collection, school’s expenses and budget systems to stay in control.
(3).. The Spiritual Realm (Alignment). This is where you partner with God to protect your vision.
You pray, you speak in tongues (life), and you surround your school
with divine covering of God’s power (Whether in a Christian or Muslim way)
NOW HERE'S THE SAD ASPECT:
Some school owners and administrators only operate in one realm —
either too spiritual but poor in structure,
or too strategic but empty in spiritual matters
And when you do that, you create a space where confusion, sabotage, or delay work against them.
SO LET ME TELL YOU THE TRUTH:
Yes, spiritual attacks are real …. But the devil works best where ignorance is plenty.
The devil does not need to tie your destiny to a tree in the village.
He just needs to tie your mindset to confusion and fear of someone using juju against you.
You keep praying against enemies, but you are not marketing your school.
You keep fasting, but you refuse to do proper recruitment to employ good teachers.
You keep anointing your school gate, but you have not fixed your admission process.
You are running after prophets and Alfas, but you refused to pay your teachers at the right time (the end of the month).
That’s how the enemy wins you — Not through juju, but through lack of structure and system.
HERE IS THE REAL WISDOM:
You don’t fight spiritual battles with only prayers ….. You fight with prayers + principles.
👉🏿 Prayer gives you direction.
👉🏿 Principles give you dominion.
Even Daniel prayed, but he also had understanding.
Joseph had dreams, but he also had administration skills.
David had anointing, but he also had strategy.
You must combine heavenly wisdom with earthly systems.
---------------------------------------
LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING FROM TODAY:
👉🏿 Step 1: Secure the Spiritual Atmosphere of Your School. Every morning, pray over your school.
Speak life: …. “My school is a city set on a hill. No power of darkness can steal my students or my peace.”
Dedicate your space to God afresh each week, month and term.
But don’t stop there.
👉🏿 Step 2: Build Strategic Systems. Don’t let prayer cover your carelessness.
Use digital tools to monitor your school’s income, expenses and budget.
Create a digital presence (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Website) so parents see your value.
God blesses systems that work — not emotions that cry.
👉🏿 Step 3: Upgrade Your Mindset. Stop seeing enemies in every of your challenges.
Sometimes, your “attack” is just a call to grow in excellence.
Train your teachers. Improve your school environment. Communicate better with parents.
Excellence has a way of protecting you from evil power.
👉🏿 Step 4: Protect Your Peace. Don’t let fear run your school. Fear is a bigger attack than juju.
Because fear paralyzes and shoots your brain from thinking in a creative way.
When you operate in peace and confidence (without fear), you attract divine guidance.
And when God gives you wisdom, even the devil and other school owners will wonder what you’re using.
FINAL TRUTH:
Your school cannot grow on prayer alone,
and it cannot grow on strategy alone.
It grows when SPIRIT âž• SYSTEM work together.
Because no “juju” can stop a school that is both spiritually covered and strategically structured.
Finally, I told Mama Chioma that:
“If they’re using something, use your own something too.
But your own something must be stronger — THE POWER OF GOD ➕ THE WISDOM OF SYSTEMS.”
Since then, her story has changed. She prays, she plans, she monitors — and her school is growing again.
Let me stop here so that you can meditate about what you have gained from this gist.

I LOVE YOU and I want YOU TO SUCCEED.

Mr. Toba, can a school inside a 3-bedroom flat ever grow big?”
That was the question one school owner, Mr. Okoye, asked me last week during our WhatsApp chat.
He said;
“I feel embarrassed sometimes when parents ask for our address.
I know my school is teaching well, but people don’t take us seriously because
we’re inside a rented 3-bedroom apartment.”
When I heard that, I smiled — not because it’s funny,
but because that’s the same fear that keeps many good schools and school owners small.
Let me tell you a story.
There’s a woman in Ibadan — let’s call her Mama Bisola.
She runs a nursery and primary school inside a 3-bedroom flat she rented.
If you see the way she loves those children — you’d think they are her biological children.
Her handwriting class is excellent.
Her pupils read well as from primary 3.
Parents love her welcoming relationship with the pupils and parents.
But… she’s almost always broke …… Not because her school is bad,
but because she’s running it with PASSION, not STRATEGY.
Let me tell you this secret before we continue …..
… As we are ending 2025 and about moving into 2026, passion is not enough – You need solid strategy
You still don't get what I am saying ? ….. Let’s break it down.
As a school owner or administrator — especially as you are running from a rented apartment,
you have 3 growth areas that you must develop properly.
1.. Your quality: how well your pupils perform in their academics and behave character wise.
2.. Your visibility: how well your community or society knows and trusts you.
3.. Your system: how well you manage your school’s finances, operations, and reputation.
Most small schools stop at number 1.
They have good teachers, but poor marketers (visibility).
And that’s why they stay unknown inside the rented apartment they are using and in the society. Therefore, they continue to struggle
How Do You Prevent That From Happening to You and Your School.
It's very simple.
You don’t need a big building to look like a school that means serious business.
Just make sure you have structure and tell the story of your school in a way that
shows the value you give to the pupils, parents and the society.
Let Me Show You How to Grow Even Inside Your 3-Bedroom Flat:
👉🏿 Make Your Space Look Like a Brand, Not a Building.
Paint your gate or entrance with a beautiful colour and put a neat offer banner or signboard outside.
Create a simple corner for taking pictures of pupils during learning and extra curricular activities.
Keep your classroom neat, colorful, and photogenic.
Parents don’t pay for space — they pay for confidence —- And confidence is built by presentation.
👉🏿 Build a Strong Online Presence. Don’t hide your school because of your location.
Show the world the good and excellent value you are creating .
Post pictures of pupils reading, counting, and learning.
Record short videos of your pupils' recitations and projects.
Write captions like: … “Inside our classroom, we’re building big minds.”
Parents love schools that show growth, not size.
Even if your school is inside a 2-bedroom flat, your online presence can make it look like a big school.
👉🏿 Use WhatsApp and Facebook as Your Free Billboard.
Your phone is your second school location. So, create a WhatsApp Business account for your school.
Use your status to share daily updates (don’t just post birthday flyers).
Join local community Facebook groups and share educational tips for parents.
You’re not disturbing anybody — you’re building trust.
Because when parents trust your mind, they’ll trust your school and bring their children.
👉🏿 Don’t Compete with Big Schools — Position Differently.
Big schools talk about facilities — Go ahead and talk about care for kids.
Talk about individual attention. Talk about a strong moral foundation.
Make your size your strength by saying things like:
“In our school, we know every pupil by their name because we are not too many — and that’s our superpower.”
Believe me, parents love that level of attention and
that is how you turn your 3-bedroom flat into a premium experience.
👉🏿 Build Simple Systems for Growth. Growth is not about luck — it’s about structure.
Start tracking your school fees (using Smart SchoolFee Manager) and monitor your daily school expenses
Make sure you also plan ahead on how to get and spend your school’s money by making a budget.
When your school’s income and expenses are structured, you’ll stop guessing and start growing.
Although your school is small today, it does not mean your system cannot be big.
Here’s what happened to Mr. Okoye after our chat and interaction.
He repainted his rented 3-bedroom flat, branded his school’s gate,
created a page, and started posting the values that are coming from his school every week.
In 2 terms, his school grew from 23 pupils to 57 — without moving location.
Did he get a new building? …. No. He just built new visibility and new confidence.
My dear school owner and administrator,
Stop apologizing for your 3-bedroom flat — Start making the best use of it.
Your school’s value is not in the size of your building — it’s in the value and impact of your system.
Because even inside a 3-bedroom school, you can raise global children,
if you understand visibility, structure, and consistency.

My dear school owner and Administrator; .. do not concentrate your energy of RUNNING AFTER PARENTS to bring their children to your school.
Instead concentrate your energy on doing things that will ATTRACT PARENTS to bring their children to your school.
It's very important you understand the difference between the 2 sentences above.
When you understand it, you will safe yourself from wasting your energy on things that brings LITTLE or ZERO result.

22/11/2025

In the first part of this gist of the 5 Growth Secrets that will help Mrs. Grace to grow her school,
I made it known to you that the small size of your school is not the problem but instead your structure is the problem.
Now, let's continue from where we stop and go straight to secret number 2.
👉🏿 (2) Stop Thinking “I Need More Parents” —- Think “I Need More people to know me (Visibility).”
Make sure that your school is NOT in the category of the schools that people do not know.
Your school cannot grow if people in the area where your school is located and beyond do not even know what you are doing.
You can start using free digital tools to build awareness:
Post short learning clips on your school’s page or Instagram page.
Use WhatsApp to share weekly updates with parents.
Join local community groups and share VALUES that
will attract parents to what you are doing. I did not ask you to share ADVERTS.
Every post you make is like planting a seed in the mind of parents and it will surely germinate to favour you.
The more you plant, the more inquiries you will reap.
👉🏿 (3) Don’t Just Teach Children — Make Sure You Also Educate Parents.
Parents don’t pay school fees because of “curriculum.” — NOT AT ALL.
The parents pay for confidence, growth, and peace of mind for their children.
So, stop saying “We teach the British curriculum.” or “We teach Montessori Curriculum”
Start showing how your school helps children think better, speak better, and become better.
Run free seminars for parents. Create WhatsApp classes on “Raising Confident Kids.”
Let parents see you as their partner, not just their child’s teacher.
When parents trust you and are very sure that you care about the success of their children,
they will recommend your school faster than any advert will do.
👉🏿 (4) Do Not Market Like a Teacher — You Must Market Like a Chief Executive Officer.
Many school owners think marketing is begging. No! — marketing is storytelling.
Marketing is how you tell your school’s story so well that parents feel stupid not registering their children in your school.
Stop saying: “We are affordable.” —- Start saying: “We help every child find their life path to success.”
Because parents don’t buy affordability — they buy transformation.
👉🏿 (5) Stop Waiting for a Miracle — Build a System or Structure.
Growth is not prayer, it’s pattern. You don't have to make everything about the growth of your school look spiritual.
It's not only about 7 days of prayer and fasting or tying something to the entrance of your school.
You just need a repeatable process for attracting, getting and retaining students.
Start small but follow a particular structure: Track your income and expenses and monitor your growth.
Manage daily spending with digital tools and plan the growth of your school.
Because whatever you don’t measure, you will not be able to multiply.
—----------------------------
Mrs. Grace started applying these 5 strategies and many more that I showed her.
✔️ She did not beg any parent to come register her child.
✔️ She did not change the location of her school.
✔️ She did not reduce the amount of her school fees.
✔️ She just built a system that makes more people to know about her school,
then parents have more trust in her and her school and she also puts in place a good financial structure.
And in one term, the number of students in her school grew from 34 students to 48..
No magic. Just a structure and a working system.
So, my Dear School Owner …….. you don’t have a small school — you just have a small structure and system.
And once you fix the structure + the system, you will see that growth will come and it will be clear to you.
You’re not running “just a school …….. you are running a kingdom where you build the next generation small-small every day.
So stop saying, “Parents are not paying.”
Start asking, “How can I show more value?”
Because when people (including) parents see the value in what you are doing in your school,
they will register their children and pay without stressing you.
Hmmmm ! — Let me stop here.

I was discussing with a school owner — let’s call her Mrs. Grace — and she said
something that made me understand the more that some school owners are really struggling.
She said, ………. “Mr. Toba, I have been running this school for 5 years now.
I love children, I teach with my heart... but it’s so painful to see that after all my effort,
I still have only 34 students. Sometimes, I feel like closing down this school.”
When I heard that, I bent down my head — not because I didn't know what to tell her.
But I bent my head to take a deep breath because that is the secret pain many
passionate private school owners are going through.
The school owners love teaching, they love children but they don’t love the business side of school.
Let me tell you the fact, it's possible you are not struggling because your school is bad.
But you are struggling because you don't have structure, system and strategy.
Let me explain it in a way you will understand.
—--------------------------------
Imagine two school owners:
1.. Mrs. Grace has 34 students.
2.. Mrs. Joy has 300 students.
Both of them wake up early.
Both of them teach with all their strength.
Both of them love their students or pupils.
But there is something that makes them different — it’s structure, system and strategy.
✔️ Mrs. Joy treats her school like a business that must grow.
❌ Mrs. Grace treats her own school like a classroom that must survive.
And survival is not growth ….. Survival is just doing something to make sure that your school does not close down.
Now let me share with you the 5 Growth Secrets that will help Mrs. Grace and even your school to continue to grow.
👉🏿 (1) The Small Size of Your School Is Not The Problem — Your Structure Is The Problem.
You are saying ……. “If only parents can just see how good we are teaching in my school, they’ll come.”
But guess what?
They won’t see it — because you have not shown it to them.
You need a system that turns your few students and their parents into walking adverts.
Look at the successes you have recorded in your school and share them online.
Parents trust results they can see far more than the promises they can hear.
– Showcase pupils’ projects on WhatsApp
– Post parents’ testimonials on Facebook
– Send simple newsletters showing your school’s value
Even 30 students can become your 30 marketers — if you position right.
----------------------------------------
oooooh! ......... This gist is becoming too long and I don't want you to get tired of reading
So, I will show you the remaining 4 secrets in my next post.
I want you to remind me by typing the words "PART 2". ............ in the comment section so that I will not forget.
