HOW TO ACHIEVE A GREAT FAMILY.

Have you ever wondered why your family is in a state of disarray and that of your neighbor keeps thriving?

Raising a strong family is as tedious as gaining financial freedom. With this present age of social media and peer pressure,it even makes it more difficult.

But not to worry,every problem comes with a solution.Here are some few steps to get your family bond back on track.

Everyone in Decision Making
It sounds unconventional right? No it doesn't. Most people, parents in particular, don't believe in sharing their thoughts with other members of the family. Seeking each person's opinion brings a sense of belonging and creates a special bond amongst everyone.

Public Spats
Yes, nobody likes public embarrassment.Whenever their is a disagreement ,try to resolve such issues in a matured manner, leave it out until you return home or you get to a secluded spot. Engaging in public spats kills moral and can be a spark to a bitter relationship.

Surprise Family ReUnion Parties.
Who doesn't love surprises? Definitely no one. Impromptu family gatherings can help improve on unity and bond. Assign duties to each person to make them feel involved.

Regularly on One another.
We all need a shoulder to lean on.Life can be so though sometimes we just need someone to show us care and affection.A call from a loved one can change a frustrating day. Regular calls and visits improves bonding.

from Empty Promises.
A promise is a debt, not fulfilling it can start hatred and distancing. Most of us buy our ways by making promises we know we can't fulfil.

The few steps mentioned are real life solutions not some hypothesis,it has helped to put back on track some lost relationships.

Even the holy books put great emphasis on family bond.

Remember any family with a strong bond always lead the chart by accomplishing various goals.

Marriage also called matrimony or wedlock is a legally and socially sanctioned union between a man and a woman,that is regulated by laws, rules, customs, beliefs, and attitudes that prescribe the rights and duties of the partners and accords status to their offsprings (if any).

WHY DO WE MARRY?
According to Maggie Gallagher , " you'll live longer,stay saner,get richer, and be happier".

There is a general view that children raised outside of intact marriages are more likely to slip into poverty, become victims of child abuse, fail at school and drop out,use illegal drugs,launch into premature sexual activities, commit crimes ,etc.
In summary, you should marry because:
- It's safer,
- It can save your life,
- It can save your kid's life,
- You will earn more money,
- You will get richer,
- It will make you happy.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC AGE TO MARRY?
According to Belinda Luscombe:
It's advisable to marry between the ages of 28 and 32 to avoid divorce at least in the first five years of marriage. Don't get it wrong here,if you are older than this age and you are not yet married, these are just statistics.
In summary, you mustn't be too young or too old before marrying.

RELIGIOUS VIEW ABOUT MARRIAGE
Christians believe it's a gift from God, one that shouldn't be taken for granted. It is the right atmosphere to engage in sexual relations and to build a family life. Getting married in a church of God is very important as it is a public declaration of love.

In Islam, Nikkah is a legal contract between a man and a woman. Both the groom and the bride are to consent to the matrimony of their own free will. A formal binding contract, verbal or on paper is considered integral to a religiously valid Islamic marriage. This outlines the responsibilities of the groom and bride.

THINGS TO PUT IN PLACE BEFORE MARRIAGE
- Take an impromptu trip together, this gives you a chance to know how you both handle stressful situations.
- Understand each other's value, discuss individual values and beliefs.
- Talk about money, how can you both make incomes for the family.
- Talk about kids, how many do you think you can cope with.
- Take a dance lesson together.
- Play the name game.
- Meet eachothers' favorite people, meet your inner circle.
- Take a class together, it could be an online or offline class, eg learn some culinary skills.

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF DIVORCE
In every Marriage, divorce is a sad situation to result to. But these are some major causes of divorce according to a research carried out by Umoh and Adeyemi (2000);

- Pyschological issues
This includes sexual incompatibility, distrust, drug addiction, chat addiction, etc.

- Social issues
Absence of open discussion between spouses, engagement in extramarital affairs and family interference.

Further more, cultural differences, religious beliefs,inequity in division of labor, conflict over power are also causes of divorce.

Divorce creates economic, social and psychological problems on the divorced.
It can also lead to drug abuse, and lack of connection between parents and offsprings.

In summary, irrespective of religious beliefs, S*X is very Paramount in sustaining any marriage. It's not a crime to learn from experts, watch videos to save your marriage.
