Retreat for answers.There must be a way out
Years ago, I lost my peace about the state of our church, and I knew it was time to shut down and go on a retreat to get answers from God. I needed answers about what we are to do specifically to grow the way we ought to. About three days into the waiting God began showing me secrets, and to my amazement, they weren't deep stuffs but simple things we often ignore. I left that retreat knowing that I had found it. About a week after I left the retreat, I heard one of our brothers was coming to start a branch of their own ministry in my city. They have a thriving ministry, the moment I saw that, I knew that if that ministry steps into the city, it is a clear sign from God that the heavens are opened over all of us. I sent one of our pastors to help take a seed anonymously to that ministry so as to be a part of what God is doing. Shortly after they came, then our explosion in that city followed. We got a strategic property we would never have imagined.
Listen beloved, to fight what God is doing in other people's lives because it is not happening in yours is to question Gods judgement. At that point you are questioning the wisdom of God.
God.is not cheating on you to bless anybody. Settle down, celebrate whatever God is doing in your generation and never become resentful. If God visits your friend early, it also means that He is in the neighborhood. Never become bitter or dismissive about other people's breakthrough. Walk in love and wish everyone well while you face your work.
