Antibiotic resistance is now the number one global veterinary problem because:

Antibiotics are losing effectiveness

Animals are taking longer to recover

Some infections no longer respond to common drugs

Resistant bacteria can spread to humans

⚠ Why it’s important:

Common diseases like mastitis, pneumonia, and enterotoxemia are becoming harder to treat

Overuse of antibiotics in farms is creating superbugs

The world is moving toward strict antibiotic control laws

✔ What vets must do:

Use antibiotics only when necessary

Do proper culture & sensitivity tests

Promote vaccination programs

Improve farm hygiene and biosecurity

Educate farmers about dangers of overdose
